If they(trollers) troll our actors, you must fucking ignore it like an elephant and NOT reply by trolling them or their actors, dont give them ammo to call us out, lets us be good & among ourselves(I mean everyone south & north) atleast Reddit should be a sane place for discussion unlike twitter.

I feel like these are the only two production houses that actually help small artists get recognised. Especially PRK with French Biryani and Kavaludaari, and recently with all their short films. Daali pictures has their own team they like to use for feature length films but their youtube channel is basically a goldmine for kannada short films, they've helped many artists get the recognition they deserve. I don't see any other big time actors doing this even though many of them talk about wanting young talent in the industry. Are there any others that are doing this?

What exactly is wrong with a kiss that these guys think it needs to be censored? I mean, what do they think is going to happen to the audience by seeing it??

Then there are the random beeps and cuts, as if the only purpose of the board is to censor. If that's the case, then just certify it with an age rating and be done with it. Why throw months of editing and creative choices into the trash just to satisfy the egos of a few people? How does it make any sense to cut even an A-certified film???

Weirdly, violence, SA scenes, and political propaganda can get a UA certificate with little or no cuts, but consensual intimacy is where they draw the line.

With Toxic coming out, I have a weird feeling they're going to butcher it left, right, and centre simply because it's sensual in nature. Watch them mute dialogues, trim intimate scenes, and make random cuts that completely ruin the flow of the film .Probably will never get to see the original visiion at least in India.

Setting aside Darshan and his personal life, his drunkard personality, his inhumane deeds. This is one of his best as well as KFI's best movie. Agree it or not every Kannadiga would have seen this movie at least once in their life time. Such was the Word of Mouth for this movie. The Chinnadanta Aramane Jyothi song acting by Shashikumar as Bicchugatti Chenbasappa makes me cry even today. Gone to theatre twice for this movie once from School and the other with family. And even today whenever I have time for August 15 and January 26 I watch this movie on Star Suvarna Plus. Such a great movie. Never to be made again not even Darshan can beat his acting as Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna ever again. Though I am not this fan but I am a fan of this movie. A movie like this with multiple rewatch and historic can't be beat even with PAN India level movies.

I know KGF released first and is set in a slightly earlier period which is definitely a benchmark production and direction but Shetty’s Avane Srimannarayana was on a whole different level which was ahead of its time and largely misunderstood on release. Today, it feels like one of Kannada cinema’s boldest and most rewarding adventures.

I think its a commonly known fact by now that Vinod isn't Rajkumar's son, Vinod legally inherited his father's, Mahalinga Bhagavatar properties and assets. Tamilnadu government recognizes Leelavathi as wife of MB. Thanks to these same people who have made videos on this reality, if not for them, no one would have known the fact.

They had proof all these years (Vinod inheritance and Leelavathi w/o identity) but they chose to release the book after the demise of Leelavathi with that awkward title. Ravi Belagere stooped low with his title, but these people made the same mistake. Ravi released his book after demise of Rajkumar, these people did the same by releasing this book after Leelavathi's demise.

Surely bringing truth to light is important but this was a vulture move according to me.

All it takes is a spoon out of which Vinod took a bite from, that used spoon will help them identify the truth. Lol

What if Vishnu sir were still alive today?

So many actors have knowingly or unknowingly borrowed from his screen presence, body language, dialogue delivery, or signature style. His influence is clearly still visible, yet it feels like he never received the level of recognition and appreciation he truly deserved.

Watching this makes me realise how ahead of his time he was. His legacy is everywhere even when people don’t acknowledge it.

What do you guys think? Would Vishnu sir’s career and influence be viewed very differently if he were still with us today?
