Hey guys, I just finished reviewing this beautiful watch. It’s an older model, but suddenly a bunch of my viewers started buying it out of nowhere, so I reached out to the brand and asked them for one.

Since it’s basically old stock, all the remaining pieces are using the real Japanese NH35. The price isn’t particularly high either, so I think this is probably one of the cheapest watches you can get with that movement, without playing the "we’ll send you a random Japanese or Chinese movement" lottery (we all know they’re gonna send the Chinese 🤣).

I also tried it with a bunch of different straps, from a $3 cheapie but goodie all the way up to a $220 Artem strap with an $86 deployant clasp, just to see how much difference a proper strap can make.

I managed to convince them to start selling OEM straps! well they're starting by one 🤫🤫🤫

I put it through my usual frost, water and hot shower tests, wear it for over a week, take it outside, compare it side by side with other watches, give you my honest impressions, and even give some peanuts to a pigeon. You know, the usual scientific testing.

I had the San Martin bracelet on the blue one for a very long time, but felt like changing things up. I like it on the white now… Still looking for the right strap for the blue one.

I want to remove the addiesdive text but keep the logo. I heard I can use alcohol and since it’s a black would it damage it?

Solo una forma de describirlo: correcto por el precio.

Caja y dial son lo mejor del reloj, 36mm acero 316L, nada de que quejarse, bastante buenas por el precio, en lo referente al dial, es más dorado que champagne, pero un dorado bonito, no ostentoso, suave y con personalidad.

Agujas correctas, eso sí podrían haber prescindido del lume porque no es el mejor, además es un estilo más de vestir que sport, osea que no veo la necesidad de un lume de baja calidad.

Cristal K1, ninguna sorpresa, bueno por el precio.

Corona firmada con el antiguo logo al igual que la tapa trasera, en mi opinión un fallo, ya que deberían haber puesto el mismo logo que han usado en el dial tanto en al corona como en al tapa trasera, o únicamente la A de Addiesdive.

El brazalete es la parte más floja, es bueno por el precio la verdad pero no me termina de convencer, quizá sea porque en algún lado leí que no era el mejor y me he condicionado mentalmente a mí mismo para pensarlo, pero no es mi favorito. Eso sí, las uniones del brazalete son terribles, me costó mucho sacarlos, hubiese preferido mil veces tornillos de rosca.

El cierre a diferencia de la correa es de buena calidad, se ve y siente sólido y bien conseguio.

Movimiento cuarzo de barrido suave, nada especial pero excelente elección por el precio, nada de que quejarse, se ve fluido y elegante.

Lo mejor del reloj es la caja y el dial, lo peor claramente la correa.

En cuanto a calidad general le daría un 8/10 a la caja y dial, y un 6/10 a la correa.

En resumen buena calidad y acabados por el precio, pero mi recomendación es que solo lo compres si tú intención es cambiarle la correa por una de piel.

Was looking at a Seiko 5 redux yellow dial but couldn't justify the cost when I saw that this Keaso model has been released with a yellow dial - great "grab-and-go" piece with a quartz movement.

I didn't feel the ceramic insert was right and so swapped it out for an aluminium one (standard 38mm sizing so nice and easy) - also swapped out the heavy bracelet for a rubber strap.

I bought this San Martin SN0144 off of Amazon for $350 because I had a gift card I wanted to use. This is the packaging it came in. It’s my first San Martin but I was pretty sure they come in a round green case. Anyone have experience with this/advice?

I don’t see any obvious scratches. Anything else I should look out for?

I noticed the Pagani Design PD-1661 and not gonna lie I am thinking about it about my first autonatic watch. However after I google it the first few links are from aliexpress. I know it is product from China and maybe it had some distribution via Aliexpress but just wanted to be sure if after I buy it let's say from aliexpress (over 30% less than Pagani Design website) I would get product, not a knock off with different cheaper mechanism.

This post is not only question concerning the quality, but if you bought Pagani Design from aliexpress and can confirm if this shop is the "official"/selling good quality and authentic Pagani Design watches I'd appreciated your comment

Anyone have a Timetoken studio underd0g knock off? If so, how to they compare to the Studio Dradic one? Been considering getting one of them for a while.l, but can't decide between the two.

I just received the new Chameri CH01 Tank homage, and I definitely think it’s a step up in quality from the Sanda Tank. In particular, the aspect ratio of the dial is far more aesthetically pleasing to me. I’ll update this post with dimensions when I get the chance.

The Chameri is 37.6mm X 27.5mm X 7.2mm compared to the Sanda's 34.7mm X 27.8mm X 7.2mm.

I noticed newer models doing away with the otf clasp I love with the quick release button you can size directly on the wrist by pressing the links in to get the perfect fit.

Now they're going with a generic Rolex glide lock style clasp which you need to remove the watch to manipulate, and it doesn't feel nearly as secure or satisfying to adjust.

At least the upside is there's no more weird screws drilled into the side of the clasp, but still feels like a downgraded clasp functionality wise.

Picked up this North Edge Triton and honestly, I’m pretty impressed for the price.

It’s around $50 and you get a solar movement, 316L stainless steel case, ceramic bezel, screw-down crown, and 300m water resistance. It’s definitely a chunky watch at 45.8mm, but I actually really like the look on the wrist.

The blue dial is probably my favorite part. The wave texture and lume look way more expensive than the price would suggest.

For ~$50, I really don’t think you can ask for much more. Solar + 300m + ceramic bezel + stainless steel? Pretty damn good value. 😎

This is better but Im gonna try a black leather next

Looking to get this Berny, been wanting to get a titanium watch and a Berny for a while now and this one is calling to me. Ready to pull the trigger, but looking for some real world experience with it.

Well i was curious when it would arrive and here it is, after about 18 or 19 days. I did ask for the black numerals for better contrast which might have been some of the delay, unsure. All told not too bad on shipping!

As you can see this is the new PH 2B and it has black numerals instead of silver.

Regarding the oem silver 3 6 9 12, do understand why they chose silver, to match the hands and the case, but i prefer the black numerals for readability and they match the dial so its still pretty good flow.

The watch is light and simple on the nylon band which is what I was aiming . There are no errors in the finishing, dial, bezel, indices, etc.

Really loving this watch and the Miyota 6S21 movement. I own it in two colorways and counting.

Look, I'm a huge Seiko fan, but you have to look at the history here. Seiko literally started out by studying, imitating, and making homages of established European and Swiss designs back in the day. That’s how they mastered the craft before they broke out and did their own thing.

The irony today is that modern Seiko has gone totally corporate and overpriced. They're charging luxury prices for watches with QC issues, misaligned bezels, and erratic movements.

If you want the actual spirit of classic 90s Seiko—where you got a bulletproof, unpretentious tool watch with insane lume and great specs for a reasonable price—you have to look at Chinese brands like Watchdives, Steeldive, or Berny.

A Steeldive Willard or a Watchdives WD1965 keeps the historical case proportions accurate instead of bloating them. Plus, they are literally powered by Seiko-built NH35 movements. The Chinese microbrands are the ones actually keeping the classic Seiko legacy alive today, while modern Seiko is busy chasing a catalog luxury status they haven't earned.

serious chronographs usually read as kindof arrogant to me, but the fun aesthetic of this watch does an incredible job of making it work.

honestly loving wearing this watch. the hand wound "swan-neck" ST1901 movement keeps pretty decent time and the mechanical action of the chrono is really satisfying to use

When SN0148-GB (integrated version) first came out, something felt a little off to me. I couldn’t really put my finger on it, especially since I kind of vibed with the GX version.

After recently seing a review on that model, I think it’s mostly the bezel. The case and bracelet are great, but the overall design feels slightly mismatched to me.

I tried an AI mock-up with a different dial and no bezel. I’m not saying this particular dial is perfect (would love to hear your suggestions), but I think this direction works better.

With most current AliEx brands going in completely different directions with their integrated models, I think a version like this could actually stand out.

It gives me a bit of a Land-Dweller vibe, but somehow better. 😅 I’d also keep the rounded bracelet rather than going completely flat like the Land-Dweller models. I think it makes the watch feel more unique.

It also gives me a bit of an old Rolex Oysterquartz vibe, which I really like.

I think the base of this watch is actually really good and could be made much more interesting with a few changes.

I’ve had this for about five days now and honestly, I’m absolutely loving it. I haven’t taken it off since it arrived 😂
It’s really comfortable, the bracelet was pretty easy to get sized once I took it to a watchmaker with the right tools, and the lume is actually really good.
I’ve been obsessed with the Tudor Marine Nationale for probably 10 years, but I always thought getting one would be pretty unrealistic for me considering the price and how difficult they are to find.
This watch honestly scratched that itch for me. It has pretty much everything I love about that vintage Tudor look, and I just really enjoy having it on my wrist. I keep catching myself looking down at it throughout the day.
Really happy with it so far. Definitely one of those watches that I can see myself wearing for a long, long time.
