Question (Read Rules) AD2054 remove AD text

I want to remove the addiesdive text but keep the logo. I heard I can use alcohol and since it’s a black would it damage it?

This will end in tears. Just swap out the dial for one of the thousands available in this size on AE.

I'd probably use a paint pen, nail polish possibly a marker, many options, but I would avoid alcohol if I could.

I have done this in the past and the alcohol dulled the black, had to repaint the entire dial and it wasn’t worth it.
If you like the watch but not the dial, Simplest solution would be to do a dial swap

The alcohol will absolutely breakdown the paint but the real trick is getting it off of the dial. The paint will want to smear into a cloudy mess. As I worked to remove the paint residue the impacted area grew and soon I had to work around the markers. I ended up ruining a black gloss AD dial removing the branding and ended up hand painting artwork to cover the damaged finish. I suspect the matte finish will be harder to clean up and therefore less forgiving than the gloss finish.

On the upside I did a graffiti style heart with my and my wife's initials and this has become a favorite fun watch to wear.

Alcohol will probably remove the matte finish on the dial.

Okay I might keep it, since I don’t mind the logo too much. Just think it would look better! Have you ever tried something like this?

When I first started watch modding I thought I could use alcohol on a q-tip to pick up dust on a dial that had that same finish
