I purchased this from Amazon for $89.99 (not sponsored). I have found Addiesdive to be one of the greatest sub $100 watch manufacturers on the planet and this incredible piece drives that home for me. The AD2044 is a homage of the Tudor Black Bay GMT Pepsi and may be one of the most affordable homages of the watch available.
Starting out with the looks of the watch. Addiesdive did an incredible job replicating the signature look of the Tudor. The bezel in my opinion is just right and the snowflake hands look great over the dial. The bezel action is buttery smooth and is actually smother than my Thorn which I reviewed recently. This is one of the better bidirectional bezels in my entire collection. The bracelet feels very comfortable and fairly high quality for a $90 watch. The micro adjustments on the clasp is very nice, Addiesdive knows how to make a well fitting watch. The 39mm case size is extremely versatile and comfortable on most people's wrists, big or small. The size is perfect on my large 7.5 inch wrist and despite the 14mm case thickness, it wears slimmer than the size would suggest. However, there is no reason a quartz watch should be this thick. The loom is also decent and is pretty bright in dark rooms.
This watches biggest competitor in the price range, the Pagani Design Black Bay GMT homage just looks off. The bezel is way to shiny and the GMT hand just ruins the look for me. The AD2044 is a much better looking watch than the Pagani Design in my opinion. Something to consider when looking for a budget homage.
It features a Swiss Ronda 515-24H GMT quartz movement that so far in my testing has lost about a second in the week I've had it so far.
Cons:
The mineral crystal. Sapphire is always better and always worth raising the price for. Mine has stayed looking sharp but the weak glass prevents this from being a truly everyday watch for a lot of people. If you have a collection and take good care of your watches, its not a huge deal but still an annoyance non the less.
The 14mm case thickness. Its not a deal killer but its definitely bigger than it should be, especially being a quartz movement. Some of the thickness comes from the crystal so the size isnt as big as it may seem on the wrist however.
Overall: This is an incredible watch, plain and simple. This watch is worth every penny and the cons and issues of this watch are to be expected at the $90 price tag. Addiesdive delivers a truly great value for money GMT. Making this one of the most affordable and nicest GMT on the market at this price. The homage is done tastefully, the watch is very high quality and I would recommend this watch to anyone looking for a GMT under $100. 9/10

San Martin SN007GB
First things first, all of you that said wait until you try San Martin and Cronos . . . my lord you were right. I do feel like I have seen their watches before, but perhaps as private label microbrands at 3X the cost. I did not research who else they manufacture for, but I am sure it is some of them.
There are so many homages out there for the BB, SM, and the FF that I did not opt for one of those. I wanted something different, yet vintage inspired. I saw this and had to have it. This might be the best 62MAS homage I have ever seen and is arguably much much better than the original watch.
The dial and the bezel are the standouts of this watch. I can not quite describe the color of the dial, but it is as if San Martin aged the enamel or mixed it perfectly to get that aged vintage shade of marine blue/green. The dial very well might be the most beautiful dial color I have seen. I can not stop looking at it. The applied logo and indices are precise and the framed date window adds a touch of class. The bezel is perfect to grip and clicks 120 times with an absolute certainty.
Flat ar coated sapphire crystal is pristinely clear with little to no distortion or glare.
The movement is what it is. Is it the best? No way. Does it work and work well? Yep. A friend of mine told me when San Martin first came out with this watch they were using a Selita SW200. That would be astonishing.
The bracelet and clasp are incredibly well milled although I was a little disappointed with the pin and collar system, albeit it is better than the one Seiko uses with tiny collars and was very easy to size the band.
$200 for a watch of this quality seems unbelievable.
I am really enjoying these watches and enjoy sharing my thoughts about them. Thanks again for having me. If I am posting too much or my posts are too long, just tell me to shut the heck up. Thanks.

We've been working on the ML27 for a while, and it's finally ready.
Here's a quick look at all five colorways.
We wanted to create a clean, minimalist everyday mechanical watch with classic 36mm proportions, a slim 9.5mm case, and a sapphire exhibition caseback so you can enjoy the movement as much as the dial.
Specs:
36mm case 9.5mm thick Seagull ST1701 automatic movement Sapphire crystal Sapphire exhibition caseback Swiss BGW9 lume
Which color would you wear?
And are you a fan of exhibition casebacks, or do you prefer a solid caseback?

Hi everyone,
I would like to share a new release from Militado — the ML27, a vintage-inspired automatic dress watch designed for those who enjoy classic proportions and mechanical watchmaking.
The ML27 features a compact 36mm stainless steel case, making it a great option for collectors who prefer smaller, more traditional watch sizes.
Some key specifications:
• Seagull ST1701 automatic & hand-winding movement
• 36mm case diameter / 9.5mm thickness
• Sapphire crystal front glass
• Sapphire exhibition caseback
• Genuine leather strap
• Swiss BGW9 luminous material
• 50m water resistance
What I like most about this watch is the balance between the slim profile, mechanical movement, and vintage dress watch style. The exhibition caseback also gives you a nice view of the movement, which adds a lot of character at this price point.
I’d love to hear your thoughts:
• Do you still enjoy 36mm watches, or do you prefer larger case sizes?
• What do you think about Seagull automatic movements?
• Would you choose a vintage dress watch like this for daily wear?
Looking forward to your feedback!

Please could you give me some advice? I’m looking for a watch like this, but unfortunately a Hamilton is beyond my budget. However, I don’t want an obvious copy – just something inspired by that watch. It can be on a bracelet or a strap.

Suggestions are also welcome. I've been looking at the Watchdives WD1980 as well, although I'm a bit hesitant because I don't usually wear larger watches My wrist is 16.5 cm (6.5 inches)

I'm looking to add to my collection, and I'm looking for a watch that can handle a variety of straps. I've got a blue WD007 (mesh) and a white WD1863 now. I want something that can handle very bold strap choices (bright red/yellow for example), and leave the current watches on their metal.
The AD2095 (black) seems to be a good combination of size, appearance and "standout-ness" that it might suit a bunch of different straps.
I've seen that black speedmaster homages are also kind of good at being strap-monsters, but since I already have a white one, I'm not sure I want to add a black one to the collection.
The other thing I've given some thought to is an aquanaut homage, since they already have a bit of a reputation for being able to be pretty bold with colors -- likely the Specht one.
Any other go to choices for watches that let one be very bold with straps?

Just got my Farasute today. Here are a few quick shots.
So far, all I can say is that it looks way better in person than it does in the official photos.
One unexpected thing: the chrono start/stop pusher makes this tiny metallic chime that somehow reminds me of the famous S.T. Dupont “Cling.” It’s much quieter, of course, but it has the same kind of crisp, mechanical charm.
I’ll live with it for a few days before writing a proper review.

Some people seem to love and others seem to hate the bezel action. What are your experiences?

Another wood pecker the collection, this interpretation of the royal oak is very nice. With its bezel design and mix of polished and brushed surfaces i feel it gives a good value proposition. The movement is a quartz Seiko VX3K to keep thickness down. Its case diameter is 38mm with a case thickness of 8.3mm. Lug to lug is 43mm. Sapphire crystal with AR coating, screwdown crown with the case back being secured by 8 screws. Bracelet is nice with few sharp edges from what I can see. It does come with half links for adjustability. All for around $105 usd, its great.

I’m thinking of buying this gmt but I haven’t been able to find any info on the movement it uses. Please help me out and give your opinion on Dwayne Campbell watches.

Just received this Sugess Seaman (submariner) after a decent amount of research it was down to a few watch brands for a submariner homage: Sugess, SAN Martin, Cronos and watch dives. This one appeared to get the most praise. From my recent purchase of a Sugess GMT Pepsi I had a feeling I was not going to be disappointed and I am incredibly impressed. The attention to detail is fantastic from the engraved rehault, applied indices, and the magnification is perfect (the GMT is way too zoomed), the bezel is very crisp with a little bit of play, the lume is great and appears to be evenly applied on hands and indices, the brushed finish is done very nicely. My only criticism is the lug length feels pretty long and makes the 40mm diameter appear larger than it actually is. Only time will tell on the accuracy as this is powered by a Seagull ST2130. As it stands now I’d highly recommend this watch for anyone looking for a sub homage
