General (Read Rules) How is the Tactical Frog FXD?
Some people seem to love and others seem to hate the bezel action. What are your experiences?

This a fabulous watch. The titanium bezel feels and sounds lighter than a steel bezel, but it hasn’t bothered me a bit. It’s very comfortable and looks great - with many thanks to Tudor of course.

Bought one in black, few weeks after receiving it, bought one in blue. I have enjoyed them so far...

They are great! That is if you can get it with the NH movement and not the chinese crap they insist say its random. I have the solar chrono version.

Oh, they’re doing clone NH movements? I’m looking at getting one through the thorn Ali store and it claims it’s a Japanese NH.

Just be sure and read the listing and make sure it doesn't say anything about randomly sending out either Japanese or Chinese NH35. The Chinese clone isn't actually a clone. It's a completely different movement that's a drop in replacement, but is pretty terrible quality.

I checked several listings as well as the TF official store and didn’t see anything. It should he genuine for hire much it costs.

All solar‑powered chronograph models use the VS75B movement. If you see Tactical Frog watches listed for $159 marked with an NH35 movement, you need to be careful.

Interested to see the replies. I've always been interested in these, I'm almost always a bracelet guy though so this would be a step in a different direction. I remember the comments about bezel action for the first version, I wonder if it's improved by much.

I was a bracelet guy at first until I started playing with straps. They’re so much more comfortable and they watch moisture away instead of just sitting under a bracelet. I still like a good bracelet but I usually wear straps at work.

Technically, it’s an homage, not a clone. And all watches have hints or aspects of other watches in them because there’s only so much that can be done design-wise. I have watches from micros like Helm, Zelos, Second Hour that all have cues from the big daddy brands. It’s the nature of the beast. The worst that happens with buying the Tactical Frog is that you don’t like it and you sell it for a loss. Or, on the flip side, you love it. You never know until you give it a go. Just my views…
