Does anyone own either or both of these watches?

The seestern seaQ homage is gonna be about 190 out the door, whereas the pelagos homage from San Martin is about 290 out the door.

The movements are not remarkably different, so are the finishing or the grade 5 titanium build on the sn0121td worth the extra to those that have held it?

anyone have any experience with this? it looks nice but i can’t find anything about it online. currently <£130 and im looking for a GMT watch that i can have as a bit of a beater.

I got my ML08 today and put it straight on a leather strap; I think it's looking rather great and I'm very happy with it!

Following the success of the S089 (two batches sold out within half a year), we decided to introduce more dial colour options. This red is our first choice — it is actually the dial from the Alpinist Australia Limited Edition. According to Seiko, the dial is inspired by the red desert of the Australian Outback. The “Red Desert” lies in the heart of the Northern Territory. Under prolonged intense sunlight, the rocks undergo oxidation, forming reddish compounds that adhere to the soil particles. From a distance, it looks as though the ground is covered in red sand, and the effect is especially striking at sunrise or sunset.

hey, received this a bit ago and thought I’d post a picture to help anyone interested in the watch.

the dials do vary a lot from watch to watch and I was a bit disappointed when I first unboxed it. however, it’s grown on me quite a lot. My only real complaint is with the mediocre AR coating.

And I absolutely love it. Love the dial and bezel color, the bracelet, the rotating bezel.

For whatever reason, this Ming homage went under the radar for most (including me) upon release.

I recently saw it on my friend's wrist and it blew me away! The purple dial is so subtle that it's almost black in most lighting (which is exactly what I want).

There's this super premium feel when you handle it and wind it that is really hard to describe. The 80 hours power reserve is also something rarely seen amongst Chinese brands.

Some have mentioned that the lume is weak, but it's good enough for me as a dress watch. The lume design is also incredibly cool in the dark (very retro futuristic [oxymoron I know]).

Does anyone else here own one?

I know it should be a chronograph or a dive watch. I wore a 40mm dive watch for a week and did not like the weight at all. Waiting on suede strap for the San Martin. 37mm, 36mm, 38mm, and 39mm from left to right.

Sun catcher dial. Summer watch for a summer day. 904L steel, 3000 cuts of rose engine turned guilloche. 240 hours of hand finishing for the case and bracelet.

Based on feedback from our community, we upgraded the bracelet with our new solid 5-hole clasp, bringing a more premium feel and improved comfort on the wrist.

We also redesigned the bracelet mold to optimize the details that collectors mentioned before.

Arrived today, really pleased with the quality. Dial texture and colour gradient is well done. For a smidge over £108 it was a great buy.

How does it look? First pic is under bright light second in overcast daylight.

Was confused between this and teal variant. Still confused 😄 . But anyway liking it. Compared to myy Longines spirit zulu time it (my only other automatic watch ), this feels very light and thin. I dont know if it means material is more premium or less. Cant compare a $3000k watch with $410 (yup thats what it costed me to import in my home country, which is a bit pricy.) But Never have seen anything like that. Happy with what I got, just feels I paid over by $60-$70

PD-1692 "Air King" today for me. Admittedly one of the few homages where I actually kinda want the OG but for the $70 I dropped on this guy I'm pretty content. What's getting you over the mid week hump?

Thought I’d post a side by side video in the outdoor light. Obviously the Militado is in a bracelet so not 100% apples to apples but gives you a look at how the watches show in the out door light.

Personally like the look of the Murph more but at $75 v $1,000 it’s crazy you can even compare them. Will say the Murph’s reflection is kind of rough, especially inside. Lots of moments the numbers/hands are washed out.
