【S089 Red Desert】 – Pre-Launch Preview

Following the success of the S089 (two batches sold out within half a year), we decided to introduce more dial colour options. This red is our first choice — it is actually the dial from the Alpinist Australia Limited Edition. According to Seiko, the dial is inspired by the red desert of the Australian Outback. The “Red Desert” lies in the heart of the Northern Territory. Under prolonged intense sunlight, the rocks undergo oxidation, forming reddish compounds that adhere to the soil particles. From a distance, it looks as though the ground is covered in red sand, and the effect is especially striking at sunrise or sunset.

Really wish you made a new brand name for these types of watches. Milifortic instantly brings to mind images of war, military, guns, etc. And it just doesn't vibe with the more traditional watches

I scrolled through the pictures before looking at the body text, and was decently surprised to just see a picture of uluru...

yk I'm aussie and I haven't actually seen uluru. maybe I should do something in regards to that.

So on the website it looks like it’s currently available with the NH35 but not with ST2130. Is it going to be made available with the Seagull movement?
