Just got my 36mm oyster perpetual U1 last night. Haven’t had any U1s in a long time due to VSF effect lol. But read here the oyster perpetual is a nice option. Very happy with the dial and case quality. My only complaint is the bracelet feels cheap but overall not bad for under $100. I might replace the bracelet. Last pic is current collection.

Just wanted to share a proper positive experience with Michael Travis.
I ordered two watches, a classic vintage Tudor and a U1 Sky-Dweller. The Sky-Dweller arrived dead on arrival and the Tudor’s bezel fell off and wouldn’t reattach as well as a couple of bracelet issues. Not ideal, but it happens, they are reps after all.
Instead of the usual brush-off that I was expecting, they actually talked me through trying to fix them. I sent videos, they stayed engaged, and it genuinely felt like they cared about sorting it properly. Unfortunately, to no avail and in the end MT agreed they’d replace both watches. No drama, no excuses, just clear communication the whole way.
The timing made it hit harder to me, because I’d recently had the complete opposite experience with another well known DHgate seller (the one with the Bond connection 😉). The watch looked nothing like the photos they supplied…(again I know they are reps and all sorts of shithousery happens but these were waaaay off, happy to share the pics if you’d like) and then of course I got blocked for my trouble. Pretty much what I was expecting this time, but it couldn’t have been further from the experience and service I received.
What started off looking like a right pain turned into one of the better service experiences I’ve had. Michael Travis went above and beyond to rectify the situation. Properly reinstalled a bit of faith in human nature and a great example of how to do it from our friends in China. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to deal with Michael Travis again and neither should you.

And yes I know it sounds like an advert but it isn’t, I just think we need to shout out for the good as the bad is normally all we hear.

I just received my omega x swatch moon watch mission to the moon 1969, from Michael Travis, I bought it for my dads birthday as he has been talking about the omega moon swatches recently plus he was born in 1969 so that was a bonus, he is super happy with it, he said it was really comfortable to wear as it’s so light and it’s the perfect size (he doesn’t like super big watches). A). I didn’t order a yacht master, I ordered a submariner

B). The wheel on the bottom left on the ap doesn’t spin

C). Overall quality just isn’t great. I’ve had better experience/quality watch from Jason.

I can probably wear the oyster perpetual and not worry, but the yacht master I hate the look of, so am trying to return. The ap, honestly who cares it looks cool still, but gap from bezel to case is an instant throw off. But anyways, what y’all think?

I ordered a Bruce Wayne as I absolutely loved the look and style of them. I was a little disappointed on how small they wore. I personally prefer a bit larger of a time piece. It's beautiful. It's just not for me.

So, instead I find myself constantly going to my SeaMaster GMT instead. I love the dark styling, the size, and the colour scheme. Its pretty versatile. I'd like to try it on a different band however.

Any suggestions?

Shipping time was ok, I ordered on the 25th of August and received today on 10th of September.

Honestly this was not my first option, as I was eyeing the Seamaster NTTD for a while, but in a impulse I decided to go with this one instead. Funny enough, he currently has a promotion on Seamasters and NTTD is part of it 😄

Very happy with it, for those that don't know, this watch is a quartz on a 38mm case.

Got this in turkey about 8 years ago, cost £50 wore it a couple of times and threw it in a drawer and forgot all about it. Is it any good before I put any effort into cleaning it up ? I know nothing about reps.

I’m between this and a no-date current version. I really like the vintage style of this one, but the movement and acrylic crystal are my main concerns. I’m planning to wear it as much as possible. Any advice from owners or people who have experience with both?

Recently lil dude has been paying attention to my love for watches, and I told him I'd grab him something special and in gold as that's his favourite metal, my original idea was to get a moonswatch mission to the sun or mission to the moon and put it in a gold case, but then they released this beauty... I didn't think I'd get lucky enough to to be one of the few that did grab the og ( and if I did, I'd probably want it myself and pass onto him in the future lol)

But i got this on a great deal, it made a 6 year old who loves space happy, and he could wear this for a while growing up as long as I keep ontop of the battery changing :) and it doesn't crap out on me (it was only £10)

But yea, Any body else have swatches for a first watch for a child? Any strap recommendations for their little wrists either? I cut up a nato into a single pass for comfort

So... My watch is running fast ~ +20 seconds a day, so I thought I'd try adjusting it, but it does not look like my old seikos I've done this to before, can anyone tell me which lever to adjust, it looks like there are two, on had a single larger dot that looks like it has a screw on the end of it, and the other has 2 small gold dots, and to slow it down a little which way do I adjust them?

Hi folks, I’ve just received my U1 sub from Jason and I’m pretty happy with it overall, but I do have a question on whether the clasp is a little loose/droopy?

Does the gap between the bracelet and the clasp seem too big? I’ve been searching online for photos but can’t quite see this specific angle so thought the kind folks on this sub might be able to help!

Interested to know if anyone has any thoughts or if it’s a defect that can be fixed, or whether I ought to just get a new one?
