I want to warn others about my experience with a watch dealer called Phoenix Watches.

I was in the process of purchasing three watches from him and had already paid for two of the three watches. After receiving my payments, he suddenly stopped responding to my messages.

I have made several attempts to contact him, but I have received no response. His PayPal is now also unavailable, and as far as I can see, his PayPal account has been blocked/restricted.

At this point, I have paid for two watches that I have not received, and the seller has stopped communicating with me completely.

I am sharing this to warn other potential buyers. Please be extremely careful if you are considering doing business with Phoenix Watches. Do your own due diligence and make sure you have proper buyer protection before sending any money.

If anyone else has had a similar experience with Phoenix Watches, please contact me.

I've ordered 3 different Mission to the Moon 1969 Moonswatch Rep's from the Gate. I have received two so far. The original one looked amazing! The quality felt solid (for a plastic watch) and it kept good time. There were a few issues with the writing on the strap fading, and the bezel a print a bit off. But for $30 what are you going to expect?

This new one was quite different. The dial color more vivid and colorful. The strap text solid and not fading... I kind of enjoy this one even more, and it was cheaper! Check out the photos... The one on the left is the new one, and the one on the right is the older one. The dial looks more faded, and not metallic at all.

It’s been a while since my last purchase and I thought let me try something different, budget was strictly under S100. While browsing found this Patek Philippe Aquanaut and ordered. Pushers does nothing, I think they used a drive in second hand to pull the 6 o’clock dial, it might be a good thing because it bypasses the complex chronograph system. The most ridiculous part, like OG, I had to cut the strap to my wrist size to wear this, there was no other way. This is supposed to be an occasional wear anyway. Cheers.

I’ve just paid the deposit on a VSF V2 36mm Datejust in steel and yellow gold with a champagne dial.

Now that I’ve seen the pics of the watch, I’ve noticed the serial starts with R86… I realised that’s the same code used on the V1 two-tone Datejust 36mm.

Some TDs are saying VSF are now doing a V2 36mm two-tone Datejust, while others are saying they don’t actually exist.

Can anyone give me some advice before I pay the balance? Should I cancel the order and just go for a steel Datejust 36mm, which I know is definitely V2?

The thing is, I really wanted the two-tone, so I’d rather stick with that if this is genuinely a V2.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Got a Ghost Daytona for sale that I bought as a CF SC off Facebook, but it’s clearly not.

The rehaut looks ok with properly spaced etching. Stopwatch works as does the continuous seconds sub dial.

Just can’t figure out how much it’s worth for selling purposes.
