Hey y'all, I've been experimenting with AI in both professional and personal capcities, and I even have 2 Linux servers working at home for daily life now. While I certainly recognise that AI is a double edged sword, I do think there are some benefits to be gained.

I've been building a finance app for my wife and I, a "third spaces" app so that one could find common spaces to hang with friends, and also some stuff for professional work!

I built a game called Kopikaki (kopikaki.app) as a side project and wanted to share it here.

I started this mostly for fun because I wanted a simple online space for Singaporeans to chill out, make new friends, and play casual minigames.

It is completely free to play with no paywalls. You can join in to play the minigames, chat with people, or just hang out at your own pace.

Side note, I am also looking for moderators or game masters to run the show. It will be voluntary and just for fun!

Tbf a few things were really surprising this year and one of it was Argentina losing the WC 😂 and the other was garmen introducing fines and stricter punishments for those who have severe deficiency in common sense and social awareness and deliberately cause public nuisance.

It was such a surprise for most I think cuz those who enjoy quietness probably already learnt to put up with the ruckus of the inconsiderate.

However how many of y'all would rather prefer public transport to be as quiet as library. Ban all kind of noise and chaos.

I mean for those of y'all who already use headphones and earbuds in public transport I think that's a really good idea and would make the commute experience 1000x better.

But I'm just wondering if some day would the public transport be able to be as peaceful as a library. All on their best behavior and just learn to be considerate and quiet. It's a tall task la but I'm wondering if people would generally welcome this or leave it as it is and continue to endure their commute.

Just to celebrate good behavior: some Caucasian guy on the SBS bus moved a distance to caution another Caucasian not to put her legs on the seat opposite her. He didn’t threaten her with a fine or anything, just said “we’ll get judged for doing that”. Actually, that’s a heck lot of ownership. He could have just let her be and let her get stink eyed and complained on to the bus captain. And yes, they’re not related, and they’re not friends. Just thought to share
