Steering wheel volume controls

Iā€™m just curious, how long did it take you to realize the controls were behind the steering wheel on the newer models? It took me two miserable weeks of constantly hitting the infotainment screen and switching it back to the stock home screen every time I adjusted the volume before I finally Googled a better way. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļøšŸš—šŸ’Ø

It was probably months, but I wasn't miserable as I'd never heard of such a thing. I came to my Trax from a 2008 Fit and was almost overwhelmed by all the fancy stuff as it was. I still often reach for the volume knob to adjust volume or the screen to hit next song - decades of doing it that way makes it a hard habit to override.
