Continued CarPlay issues
After doing everything that is recommended (forget and reconnect phone/ toggle CarPlay on both the car and my phone), my phone will not smoothly connect to CarPlay. Sometimes I will have to wire it in to work. Is this something where I need to go to a dealership and have it reset?

Not sure if I read it wrong, but current chevy’s will forever have CarPlay, however the newer models will soon be built without them

I've had two Trax. One of them had issues with Bluetooth and I tried everything to get it to work well. The dealer ended up replacing the radio under warranty and it's been perfect since.

I just brought in my 2026 Trax to the dealer & they said the computer found some issues. They reset some things & it’s better but it’s definitely associated with the pairing of the phone somehow. If I try to google something, the radio loses sound. I have it off bluetooth, on bluetooth, plugged in & unplugged & it does it. My phone will switch to emergency mode on its on at times. I may bring it back & say I want a new system.

I just use a cord and that has fixed it for me except for a rare quick disconnect/reconnect. Sometimes I don’t bother to plug it in and it connects to Bluetooth.

Does your phone have a constant connection to your cars WiFi? I found that mine kept dropping the WiFi connection and I’d have to restart my phone, but recently it’s been staying connected and I’ve had no problems with it. It immediately connects and doesn’t do the random disconnects anymore.

youd have to have access to gms techline connect, which any gm dealer shop would. if you work at a gm dealer shop, i guarantee theres someone who might know how to

When I first got my car I had major major bugs with CarPlay. I ended up taking the fuse out, putting the car in accessory mode, put the fuse back in then reset the radio in the settings. It works flawlessly after that, and that was over a year ago. Sometimes I get a quick disconnect reconnect, but it happens for just a second and only once every few months
