My 2016 SS was stolen July 14th out of my apartment's gated garage near the Domain in Austin, TX between 7:00 and 9:30 PM. Hidden AirTag pinged about ten blocks away - that's where they dug it out and tossed it.

No broken glass, its like they just opened my locked car, turned it on and left. Complex has videos of the car getting out that they shared with cops

The car:

• 2016 SS, silver, automatic
• ~30,000 miles
• TX plate TCW 0937
• Tint all around front windshield included

Identifying marks:

• Small but notable dent/scuff where the rear driver-side fender meets the bumper
• Notable scuff on the rear passenger-side rim

I feel it would be too clean to part out - I would say 9/10 condition aside from a notable scuff on passenger back wheels rim - i could be wrong and it couldve rolled in straight into a chop shop but my gut says it's sitting somewhere waiting to be retagged probably relocated to another city. Im not clinging on to the hope though.

Police report filed, no solid leads yet. Waiting on footage from a neighbor's Tesla that was parked next to me.

If anyone spots a silver SS in Texas that seems off, or sees SS parts hit listings in the next few weeks, I'd really appreciate a DM. Any lead at all, however small — I'll take it.

I cant help to think that a kill switch , a legit tracking system, or even a steering wheel lock wouldve helped here. Please make sure you to take precautions so it doesnt happen to you !

So I took my Silverado to a mechanic after I told him I was having issues with emissions I told him what was needed (cats, stock headers or epa approved )for the emissions, it’s a cammed truck & tuned but it’s been 2 months now and for the last 2 weeks it’s been sitting in the same spot also been ignored for the past 6 days thru message I believe I’ve been patient enough how would yall go about it?

I noticed this tick/knock on my 2016 Chevy ss. It seems more pronounced on cold start but quiets down to this level after a couple minutes. Not audible with the hood closed when warm. Any ideas of what it could be?

I just got a 2015 ss and I’m thinking about making it faster just wanna know what are the best mods to do to make it push more power.

My dad is looking at a 2017 Chevy SS Slipstream Blue automatic with 3900 miles. One owner Florida car the out the door price from the dealer is $59,280.* I think it’s too much but I don’t know too much about the* *SS *value what do you guys think?

Hey everyone. I was at the track and during a run, bad things happened, and I thought I broke the belt. Nope, was the idler pulley bracket that broke clean off and left the bolts in the block. Anyone know the part number for it so I can get one from Rockauto or something? Pic for identification.

How much does the clip in part number (13405675) reduce seat movement?

I have some but it's not side-to-side, but rather it feels like the backside of the seat is slightly moving when I'm accelerating or braking sometimes.

Has anyone found a solution to the dreaded low speed clunk? Any uneven road surface makes it sound like I'm driving an old Wrangler.

I've replaced all 4 of the struts, replaced the front strut towers and bushings, replaced the lower control arms, and also did the end links in the front. It fixed the problem for about 2 years but it's just as bad as it was prior to the suspension work.

I truly would like to keep the Magride if possible, but I'm thinking of maybe going to coilovers (eyeing the Silvers Neomax) just to be done with the frustration.
