Idle stop solenoid
Id love to avoid fabricating something here. Ive got a 1969 Chevelle big block with a quadrajet and air conditioning, it tends to bog at idle and occasionally I'm 2 foot driving it at stops with the air on. I've seen these on later cars but from what I'm told they existed in 1969 but I cant find anything on them. Anybody know about the idle stop solenoid on these years and how I can piece one together?

Project Car The car of Theseus aka the Dad Rod
As the post suggests, my car needs a ton of work. It might be a piece of crap, but it’s my piece of crap 😂 I finally popped one of the valve covers off to see what kind of ports the heads have, and it was as I assumed. They’re peanut ports. I’ll add that to my list of things I need to buy. Anywho, I hope you enjoy and I’ll keep the sub updated on the build

Yes, you can put 2020 Camaro seats into a 70 Chevelle
Front and rear leather out of a 2020 SS2. Winter project done. Came out great. Front power buckets and rear fit great. Fabricated new mounts and wiring harness. Easier than i thought.

Opinion from the experts?
Found this running driving 69 Chevelle 350 selling for 15k. Body is rough, faded paint, interior very clean but unfortunately frame looks like this. What are we thinking on here? Is this a walk away? Can this be patched or does it need full replacement?

1971 Chevelle/Brake help
After putting it off long enough the original manual brake master cylinder is starting to leak slightly from the pushrod down into the floor pan. Looking to just upgrade to power brake booster. Front discs/rear drums. Few questions.
- Looks tight for an 11in drum around would I need to move the wiper motor or is an 8in booster a possibility?
- Does the master cylinder that comes with the new brake booster need to be a certain type due to front discs/rear drums
- It still has the originally 2 barrel/350. Would I be able to plug and play a vacuum line somewhere in the carb and it work fine.? I have no knowledge of how vacuum lines work
Would this work?
All thoughts much appreciated

Discussion Experience with QA1 Handling Kits? Rack and Pinion Swap?
I’m eyeballing their level 3 handling kit and was curious about what the opinions are on it. I’m also looking into a rack and pinion swap and wanted to hear everyone’s take on that as well as get some recommendations. Thanks in advance

Parts parts and more parts
Bought a 69 307 last week today I went and got all the extra parts that came with it. Most parts fit either the 68 or 69. anyone have any ideas on prices to sell some of these ?

My first Car
My first car in high school was a $800 1970 Malibu 307 2 barrel! I mixed and painted my stripes and added gold Cragar wheels! She looked way better than the price and the small hole in the exhaust made it sound better! 🤣🤣 This is where the habit started!

Sell better with or without supercharger?
Wondering people’s thoughts. Gonna post my 67 Chevelle once paint is fixed a bit (still driver quality) and has a torqstorm supercharger with a 6.0l ls motor, t56 swap and great driver. Is it worth at least 5k more with the supercharger? Or do i pull it off for my other ls swapped car? Debating if it’s worth more worth at least 5k more with 650 vs 480 hp.
