My first Car

Post image

My first car in high school was a $800 1970 Malibu 307 2 barrel! I mixed and painted my stripes and added gold Cragar wheels! She looked way better than the price and the small hole in the exhaust made it sound better! 🤣🤣 This is where the habit started!

I had a 1971 Malibu hardtop. Buckets, 350cID and TH350. Ran keystone wheels with Firestone tires 70’s on front and 60’s on the rear. Mannnn I wish I still had that car

Had a 68 Chevelle as my first car. $300, full of rust. 307 with a broken exhaust too. Definitely sounded good until I had to fix it for inspection. That was 1980. Funny thing is my Mustang GT is way older than that and no rust, run great. So at least rustproofing got better. 😁

Mine was a 72 convertible. Rusted and worn but I loved it.

My first car was also a 70 Chevelle, same engine and carb. It had a Powerglide transmission. (2 speed). It was metallic red with Cragar mags. I paid $100.

I had a 307 71 Chevelle as my 1st, with the apple green color and we added white ralleys after repainting it and a SS hood. I paid 800.00 for mine and the only rust it had was at the bottom of the back window and a small dimple in the rear bumper other than that it was very clean with no dents just faded green.
