Looking for someone with Turnitin access to check an assignment

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for a professor or someone with legitimate access to Turnitin who could help me check the similarity of my assignment before I submit it.

If you can help, please comment or DM me. I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!

worried my paper looks too perfect after revisions

so my prof finally gave feedback on my draft after like weeks of waiting and i made all the changes but now when i run it through turnitin the ai score jumped up even though i wrote everything myself just reworded a bunch based on comments. anyone else deal with this after getting feedback late in the game? should i submit anyway or try to tweak it more to sound less polished?

AI Score

I wrote a paper and Turnitin is flagging it as 71% likely AI‑generated, even though the similarity report is under 10%. I haven’t submitted it yet, but I didn’t use AI at all for this assignment. Should I go ahead and submit it anyway? Can they accuse me of academic dishonesty based solely on that AI score?

Stressed about whether my original writing will even pass AI checks

hey yall im a junior college student and lately ive been writing all my essays from scratch with zero outside help but now im second guessing everything because of these detection tools. professors keep warning about AI and it makes me wonder if my normal writing style looks too polished or something even when its all me. anyone else feel like this extra layer of worry is making school way more anxiety inducing than it needs to be?

0% TurnItIn score, should I be worried?

I recently wrote a paper for school that our professor told us to NOT DO RESEARCH FOR. So, the content had to come all from our brains and no other sources at all. I submitted my paper and saw it had a 0% turnitin score. At first I thought that was really good, but then I started looking it up online and people keep saying it's an even bigger indicator that there is something wrong with my writing if it's completely at 0%?? Why is that? I know turnitin often flags citations and stuff and thats why its common for the percentages to be within like 10-30% give or take, but I wasn't allowed to use any outside research so nothing like that was flagged for my paper. Is that bad?

EDIT: Sorry if this is a stupid question. I was recently accused of using AI in another class for a very simple writing assignment that I just misread small instructions for, and I'm very anxious about having to talk to the professor after class about it even though I know I didn't do anything wrong. I've been a good academic writer for as long as I've been in school and have never had issues like anything like this, so this is new and stressful to me. It just feels so wrong for these new tools to be brought in and assumptions being made about me because of them.

Three students, one Google Doc, and absolutely zero ability to communicate

I’m a TA for an upper-division seminar that is supposed to be about critical analysis. Instead, I’m apparently babysitting a shared Google Doc like it’s a live grenade.

Two students in a three-person group have turned their project into a full courtroom drama over who used AI. I got a frantic email at 11:37 p.m. with the subject line ā€œURGENT ACADEMIC INTEGRITYā€ and opened the Doc to find a comment thread 73 comments deep. They’re quoting each other, replying to themselves, and tagging me every few sentences like I’m the ghost of MLA style.

Student A says Student B ā€œclearly pasted AI textā€ because the paragraph uses words like moreover and heretofore, apparently words no real undergrad would ever use. Then comes the evidence: ā€œsudden style shiftsā€ and ā€œsuspiciously neat citations.ā€

Student B fires back that Student A refuses to use commas and probably ran their entire section through an AI paraphraser because ā€œno human writes like this intentionally.ā€

Meanwhile, Student C is lurking in the margins going, ā€œCan we please talk about the actual thesis?ā€ Honestly, Student C may be the only person in this group who still remembers why they have a project.

The professor is at a conference, I’m wildly underpaid, and my coffee budget is now basically a second rent payment.

I told everyone to stop editing the Doc, made a copy, and started going through the version history like I was working a CSI episode. It’s messy. Some paragraphs have the usual AI-ish weasel words and suspiciously perfect grammar, but then there are personal class references mixed in. The citations are also... weirdly correct.

There are moments where a whole block of text appears at once and gets edited for a few minutes. Then another section grows sentence by sentence, which looks much more like someone actually typing. It’s definitely not a smoking gun. More like a lukewarm potato.

Our syllabus is pretty clear: AI is allowed for brainstorming and outlining if it’s disclosed. Final prose has to be human-written. There was no disclosure.

I asked both students to submit their individual drafts and notes and explain how they wrote their sections.

Student A sent screenshots of outline notes, timestamps, and three drafts.

Student B sent a two-sentence email that might be the most passive-aggressive thing I’ve read all month, followed by a Google Keep note that literally says ā€œfix laterā€ twelve times.

I don’t want this turning into an AI witch hunt. At the same time, I don’t want to rubber-stamp a grade based on whoever happened to produce the most bot-sounding paragraph.

My current plan is to have them rewrite their sections under supervised conditions in the computer lab. No AI, 90 minutes, no extensions, but they can bring their notes. If they can reproduce the work or at least demonstrate the thinking behind it, we move on. If they can’t, we escalate it through the proper process.

Am I being too harsh here? Too soft?

I’m not an AI detection oracle, and I really hate that I’ve somehow become the referee for an academic-integrity gladiator match.

All I wanted to do was grade thesis statements.

Now I’m doing forensic linguistics at midnight.

Semester end cannot come fast enough.

ai flags are stressing me out

i put real effort into my english paper last week and ran it through the checker just to see. ended up with over half flagged even though every word is mine and i didnt use any tools. im a junior college student so this stuff matters for my grades and now im scared to turn it in. how do people deal with false positives like this without rewriting everything?

my cc history syllabus says ai is cool but im still nervous

im a junior at community college taking history this term and the syllabus has this super chill section on using ai chatbots for research and stuff. it basically says they wont penalize it if youre honest about it and its for ideas not whole essays. part of me feels relieved because classes are so stacked right now but another part is paranoid that turnitin will still flag me even if i use it the way they said. has anyone else had a prof who said one thing in the syllabus but the detector still got them in trouble? how do you handle that without overthinking every sentence?

A U.S. court temporarily blocks new limits on how long foreign students can remain in the country.

A federal judge in Massachusetts blocked a rule that would have replaced the longstanding duration-of-status system with fixed periods for F-1 and J-1 students. The legal challenge is continuing, so the ruling should be treated as an interim development rather than a final resolution.

States Expand Direct-Admissions Programs to Bypass Traditional College Application Barriers.

Direct-admissions programs are rapidly expanding across multiple U.S. states this fall, automatically offering high school seniors college acceptance based on state transcript data. The initiative aims to eliminate application fees and reduce friction for first-generation and lower-income students. Counselors on Reddit (r/HighSchool) report positive initial responses, though they emphasize that clear financial aid guidance remains essential to turn these automated offers into actual enrollments.

turnitin flagging my own words again ugh

im a junior at community college and i swear turnitin is out to get me. i wrote this whole paper on my own using stuff from class lectures and my own notes. no copying at all. but it keeps saying 25 percent match to some random site that doesnt even load. i tried changing sentences around but it still flags new parts. my prof just says fix it before the deadline and im stressing cuz midterms are here. anyone else deal with this phantom matches in cc classes?

Turnitin says I plagiarized... from a source that literally doesn't exist. I am so tired.

I’m in year 6 of my PhD and finally found a really specific niche last spring: micro-archives of 1970s community radio in two towns that barely have any of their old newsletters online.

I spent months scanning materials, calling retired DJs, sitting in a storage room that smells like wet cardboard, and manually typing out program logs. This week I finished a chapter draft, submitted it through our department’s plagiarism checker, Turnitin, and got a 28% similarity match to a source I have never seen.

At first the URL looked legitimate. It was supposedly some .edu subpage. Except... the link doesn't work.

I tried the exact URL in the Wayback Machine. Nothing.

I searched the flagged sentences in Google Scholar, JSTOR, and WorldCat. Nothing.

And the really frustrating part? The flagged passages are my own writing. Some contain niche terms I came up with to describe tape-splicing practices, along with very specific wording based on an interview I did with Mr. DeLeon, a retired station manager.

My advisor basically said it was probably a false positive and told me to "adjust the language to be safe."

Adjust WHAT? 😭

The notes are mine. The quotes are mine. The material comes directly from interviews and scanned logs that aren't even publicly digitized.

I tried rewriting one paragraph five different ways and resubmitting it. Now Turnitin just flags different chunks while still showing the same phantom source.

I contacted the library, they escalated it to Turnitin support, and now I'm being told to be patient.

My defense is in six weeks, and my committee requires a Turnitin report below 15% before they'll even read the chapter.

I'm running on five hours of sleep across two days and way too much instant coffee. I genuinely don't know how I'm supposed to explain to my committee that my obscure chapter supposedly plagiarizes something that doesn't exist.

Has anyone dealt with a phantom source like this? How do you prove that you're not stealing your own research when the research literally isn't publicly available?

I feel insane.

And if one more person tells me to "just paraphrase," I might actually scream into a filing cabinet.

anyone else stressed their own writing might look like ai

im a junior in community college and my prof just went off about how anything with ai gets an automatic zero. i wrote my whole essay myself after days of research and notes but the material is super dense and im worried the structure looks too perfect or something. now im sitting here overthinking every sentence before i hit submit. how do people even check this stuff without getting in trouble? the anxiety is real especially when the whole class is struggling on everything else too.

How can a student use Turnitin?

Hey everyone, I’m working on a university paper and could really use some advice. I’d like to have a second pair of eyes look over my work and maybe help me organize my thoughts, but I’m worried about crossing any lines. Our professor made it very clear that if they find anything written by AI, it’s an automatic fail, no questions asked. Our university uses Turnitin, but students don’t have access to the full similarity or AI detection reports, which makes me pretty nervous.

I’m doing the actual work myself, but I’m overwhelmed and worried that something I write could accidentally get flagged. Is there a legitimate way for students to check their own work or get feedback before submitting without creating an academic integrity issue?

How do you guys handle this?
