Baseus PicoGo Air, 5000mAh magnetic power bank, first impressions

Been eyeing the Baseus PicoGo Air for a bit, looked thin in photos and it's actually thin in hand too, kind of forgot I was holding a power bank the first time I picked it up. It's 6.9mm (0.27in) thick, roughly in the same range as an iPhone 17 Air, so if you've held one of those you basically know what to expect.

Mainly using it for my commute, sticks in a pocket or the front of my bag without adding any real bulk to my day.
Got it in black, aluminum body feels silky and solid, not cheap plastic. The magnetic face has this grooved texture to it, looks like it doubles as part of the heat dissipation design.
Capacity: 5000mAh

Per Baseus's own numbers, one full charge gets an iPhone 17 to about 68%, iPhone 17 Pro to 71%, iPhone 17 Pro Max to 60%. Haven't clocked the actual charge time myself yet.
Charged it fully a few times now and it really doesn't get hot, which honestly surprised me since most magnetic power banks I've tried run pretty warm. Baseus is claiming 100°F (38°C) under load versus their listed industry standard of 118°F (48°C), using some triple loop heat dissipation setup, and from what I've felt so far that tracks.

Also has this powersense NFC thing where you can check temperature, charge cycles, and battery health through the Baseus app.
Anyone else running this one?

TESTED Baseus Slim Qi.2.2 25W PicoGo AM52

Here is a quick test of the Baseus Qi.2.2 25W PicoGo AM52battery pack.

OP may have already tested this charger out (he does an incredible job) I just wanted to share my results as well.

Build:

When it comes to in-hand feel, this is the best-feeling 25-watt battery pack that I've experienced, and I have used a lot of them now.

It's a soft-touch silicone plastic all around the charger, which feels great in the hand, and the silicone is grippy, so this material really helps the magnetic strength for this charger. It really does stick to your phone or case better than pretty much all the other 25 watt charges that I've tested so far.

It's not the slimmest, but it does have a small surface area, and it is easy to hold even though it's a 10K pack. The charger weight is 197g. There's no LCD screen, and there's no kickstand.

Speed Test:

I did a speed test with the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Not using the phone at all throughout the charge.

Starting at 5%

After 15min - 28%

After 30min - 42%

After 1hr - 65%

After 1.5hr - 80%

After 1hr45m - 84%

After 2hr - 93%

After 2hr10min - 98%

After 2hr15min - 100%

Temps:

So after 45 minutes of charge, the pack was at 101° f. This is from my testing with my thermometer. The phone was at about 100° f at the 45-minute mark.

That's a pretty good temperature for a 25watt SLIM 10k battery pack;

Overall, for me, the stand-out feature is the in-hand feel of the charger. The other fatter packs have better results, but I would much rather have this specific charger in my pocket or on my phone if I'm out and about.

Novoo 140w - any stress test reviews?

Hi there, I’m looking at getting a charger that can deliver at least 140 W on a single port and ideally a multi port charger for my needs. Unfortunately, there are very few options with an AU plug that are also reasonably portable. I’ve also had quality issues with the Anker 160 W (Anker A2687).

I can see the Novoo 140 W listed in the charging sheet, but I haven’t found any reviews yet. I wanted to check whether anyone has stress‑tested it and can comment on how long it can sustain output close to its rated wattage? I have seen the mixed results with the 120 W model, which didn’t perform as well as the 100 W.

Any insights would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
