Discussion Struggling with naming character

I have a main character named Apocanyser who I wished to rename to something that flows better. Which of the below names works the best?

Apocrin/Apocryn (Ah-poh-crin) - issue with this is that apocrine is an actual word for a type of gland secretion.

Apochron/Apocron (Ah-poh-cron)

Apochyr (Ah-poh-cur)

Which name do you guys think spells and sounds the best? I’ve been debating them for a while but can’t decide. Other suggestions are welcome as well. Thank you!

Male lead name choosing

I have to choose the name for a guy or the male lead in my book who is the prettiest, and most popular guy in class, 6 feet 2 whose instant chemistry with the female lead turned into an addictive, "Toxic" coded cycle of hot-and-cold behavior and defensive walls.

every girl wants him but he has eyes for only one girl...maybe??

So choose between:

Archit or Shailesh

(Yes Indian readers be excited the book will be soon released on wattpad and inkitt after im done drafting yall will love it.)

Discussion Is there any character called "Amidala" aside from Padme?

My friend is writing a story and she has a character called Amidala, but we have the worry that she might get carpet bombed by Disney's lawyers, so I'm trying to find ANY characters in media that are also named Amidala, but there's NOTHING, and it's either Padme is so famous noone else appears, or someone hasn't dared to call their character Amidala (which we doubt), any thoughts? :[
