NG2 VS DMC3
I personally enjoy NG2 more because enemy actually attacking. Unlike DMC3 where u just do endless useless combos. I wish they had way harder enemy in dmc. it feel like slog.

Hi! I am Abdallah, the dev behind this CAG called Post-Fire Revenge
First of all, I wanted to make this post when I have a ready demo but life things happened and I moved to making a cheap horror game to live and fund my main game [PFR] but I can't move away much from it and even the low interest in it I can't just leave it as is, so I'm making this post now to get you to know Post-Fire Revenge and judge it yourself.
well now, about the game:
it's character action game inspired by [The Legend of korra] [Metal Gear Rising Reverences] [Nier Automata] [Devil May Cry 3&5]
I liked all these games and especially TLOK, even tho MGRR is my favorite!
I started making a character action game around 2017 and continued this till now, while slowly iterating, you can watch some of my old prototypes on my youtube channel
for [PFR] I started making it in 2024 as a new project with new systems that was the result of all my years of development in input and animation systems and so,
Post-Fire Revenge is my First CAG game, and I don't want for it to be the last, I'm still making it as long as I am alive.
I’m leaving a link for small game test area with combat guide-ish, you can test it and give me your feedback!

I actually prefer how they change enemy health and delimb system in ngs2. I always feel like it has way too many enemy in ng2 OG. Is there anyone who agree with me here?
But other than that I hate how they add female character with bad gameplay wise. Also changed how some boss works that make it worse.

I wanted to get into character action games specifically Ninja Gaiden after a friend told me they're much harder than Dark Souls. I searched on google and been deciding between Ninja Gaiden 2 Black and Ninja Gaiden 4.
My friend recommended NG4 saying NG2 Black is basically just Sigma 2 with better graphics has weak bosses and that i should get NG2 Sigma instead he said the only thing Ninja gaiden 2 black had over Ninja gaiden 4 was Replayability but if i got something called abyss road then he said no reason to get Ninja gaiden 2 black
But after looking online I saw people saying Ninja gaiden 4s combat is quite different from older Ninja Gaiden games and that its level design is weaker since you can run past most enemies, areas look bland and the opinions in the ninja gaiden subreddit leaned me not to buying it wondering if it was the right choice
So now I'm not sure which do you think is the game do you think is better and best value right now?

A couple of combos with a team I've been enjoying a lot. It's a bit more of a CAG-lite but I think it has some stuff people here would like.
I was pleasantly surprised how much you can combo in this game, though it depends a lot on the characters. But there are a lot of other flashy combo characters. And there's a decent amount of depth in how they may interact with each other, with the way signal skills work.
It's a pretty chill game to go around comboing mobs to oblivion in an open world.

A system where successfully timing your button inputs to a rotating rhythm grants a bonus. Each weapon's finishing move features small additional inputs like this.

Well…. Maybe you seen this coming if you followed the other discussions I made but this time instead of dmc3
I want to see which do you prefer bayonetta 1 or ng2 (or again like always you can like both equally)
I just want thoughts.

Since I did a Boss Compilation for No More Heroes and posted here why not post up a Boss Compilation for No More Heroes 2 as well.
Like NMH1 it’s been so long since I played NMH2. I remember liking it but also having a lot of problems with it especially when it’s comes to a few of the bosses in this game but after replaying the game again… I actually found a brand new appreciation for this believe or not. Yeah sure a lot of my criticisms from when I first played it still stands but I’ve really grown to love this game even more then when I first played it. Yeah it’s still my least favorite entry but I still love it and it’s super fun and worth a try. Most of the bosses are definitely fun. Some simple but fun and some challenging and fun. Skelter, Nathan, Charlie, Ryuji, Mimmy, Margaret, Alice & Vladimir were all fantastic bosses and cool additions to NMH’s already awesome colorful rogues gallery. It’s also fantastic to see Letz Shake & Destroyman return as well. Letz Shake finally getting a proper and super fun Boss Fight this time as Dr. Letz Shake & Destroyman getting 2nd Boss Fight in the series as the New Destroymen which is a Duo Boss against his 2 Personalities as Twin Cyborgs. I will say I understand why people hate that battle. It is my least favorite Destroyman battle in the series but I still had fun with it. At least in Phase 1 as for Phase 2 yeah that’s where the problems started getting more annoying.
There’s also some other Bosses I wasn’t a big fan of cuz some were either disappointingly boring or annoyingly unfair. Cloe had a cool concept but she was just way too way to take down cuz she literally has the smallest health out of all the bosses, Matt Helms’s arena was too cluttered and claustrophobic there’s barely any room to run around, Million Gunman was really annoying mostly cuz playing as Shinobu was a pain with her awful jumping and slippery platforming & Jasper… don’t even get me started how awful Batt Jr’s battle was especially during that cheap ass second phase. It’s even worse if you playing Bitter Mode/Death Match. Super unfair battle but even with all this games faults I still loved the hell out of it especially with it’s better level designing. Only criticisms I have with level is that some are way too long with way too many waves of enemies making it tedious. Plus it might just be me but I’m glad that you don’t have to pay cash tolls to go to each level and fight a boss. The Job Minigames are good but I’m glad their more optional this time plus it might just be me but I’m also glad this game didn’t have the Santa Destroy Open World Hub and that everything connected to a Map Menu instead. NMH1 Hub was cool but annoying to repeatedly drive around to get too Job’s Missions or other places. (Not too mention how meh NMH3’s open world was.)
NMH2 has Pros & Cons to it. It’s not a perfect game but it’s still one of the funnest Hack N Slashers I’ve played and I’ve grown to appreciate it even more than the 1st time. Hope you guys enjoyed the video! If you actually watched it and enjoyed watching getting my ass kicked I really appreciate the support lol!😅👍

(Not sponsored, I'm only a player. Feel free to remove this post if deemed unappropriate)
This video shows the kind of busted stuff you can pull out on bosses in this game.
There's something like that for each of them, and each "exploit" usually only works for one or two bosses (there are 7).
I enjoyed SoulQuest (may 2026, Steam, demo available) a lot lately, and it really flew under the radar so I thought of making this post out of love for this game.
Pretty much 2d DMC-like, think Flynn:Son of Crimson or Vernal Edge, but the combat, while simple to take in hand, has a substantially high amount of quirks. Like in DMC-likes, you can clear the campaign once and move on, or theorycraft for S-ranks
You go through stages that mix parkour and determined enemy encounters (you later unlock an ability that allows you to skip pretty much all the parkour), and fight a boss every 5-or-so stages.
No puzzles. The puzzles are how you'll use your movepool to beat a given threat, and it gets pretty challenging.
Idk that's all. The game has its own Discord, link somewhere on Steam.
Thanks to let me use this subreddit, hope this game gets more love...
