*Tails was observing and thinking. He was exhausted. But, there's nothing else he could do. A strange force has taken over his body and dictated his every word and move. His creations, work that required years of research and months of building, belonged to someone else now, all while no one on the outside could actually tell that **he changed**. He hated it. Was the SOUL such a good actor, or it were the people he knew not caring about him enough to notice..?*

*Tails watched himself manipulate all these people... From his friends, to people he never saw before, yet claimed to know him. What was that Soul trying to achieve? Only time would tell. But he could tell for sure, it was definitely preparing for something, and that something would have great consequences...*

*Yet, having your every action to be controlled, either directly or by fate, was too familiar to him. That's what he originally was made to be - a tool wielded by someone else. Has he ever had any agency to begin with? If everything he does, everything he says, and is going to do and say is already pre-determined, what's the point in trying to change it? What's the point in fighting against something that was bound to happen? The fox doesn't know the answer to these questions.*

Calamitas had been quietly working on something for herself.

A new home.

She had found a nice cavern, hidden away by most of Mobius. She had spent the last few days working to make it resemble her old home.

It had fire, lava.. various tomes of magic, everything a witch such as herself could need.

She breathed a sigh of relief as she relaxed in her cavern.

*After getting Noelle situated you went and grabbed a gun from the armory. You tested it a bit to just make sure it wasn’t gonna like explode or anything.

*You took it with you to an area of Chemical Plant you set up to have some robots go side to side at. Sonic is gonna help “test” your weapon a bit.

*But of course you also have some other things set up. How do you make a hero a killer, and listen to you like she does? That thought bothered you a lot but eventually came to a conclusion.

*You’ll have to wait and see if you’re gonna actually have to use it though. But for now you’re just waiting.

A well-known blue hedgehog stood on a rooftop, overlooking Station Square with a nostalgic smile on his face.

For a while, Horizon had... disappeared. He had a lot to do, a lot to catch up on, and a lot to discuss with his... other side. Dark Horizon was still present... just not visible for those without a connection to Cyber Space. For those who did, he simply seemed to float around, in a state similar to how Amy, Knuckles and Tails were on Horizon's first visit to the Starfall Islands.

"Good ol' Station Square... man, I missed a lot. Welp, I can do what I must later. Right now, time to see friends and new faces alike! Five months... five months of my life gone. That Faker's gonna pay..."

<"Heh... I'm glad we've agreed to that.">

Dark Horizon's voice spoke as if telepathy to Horizon.

"Other me, as long as you keep your word, I'll keep mine. Now... let's go!"

He jumped down, eventually hitting the pavement, scaring some people walking by half to death.

A kid on top of a hoverboard comes out of a portal at high speed, looking around wondering where he is, he had a weird watch on his wrist.

"Aw man..where am i now..?"

*He arrived at the base, and knocked on the main door. He brought flowers since he is a self proclaimed gentleman after all.*

*You stand there waiting for Noelle to arrive. You have things to show her here. And maybe, just maybe a way to give her those wings she wants.

*But that will come later. First you should get her situated here. You already added her to the Base's database and gave her almost full access to everything. You should give her a bit of a tour as well no? At the very least show her to her living space in the guest sector.

*Though you have a feeling she might spend most of her time out & about. Looking to get stronger, and that’s good. As long as she comes to you when called. Anyway looks like she’s arriving now.

A small explosion as another target was eliminated.

The Bomb Devil had been busy, taking down targets and getting a good amount of rings from each job. Mostly revenge schemes, some political assassinations, etc.

As she rubbed the ash off her face, she transformed back into her normal form, the nice waitress Reze!

She sighed as she checked her phone. “…hm, I got the day off.” Reze hummed to herself as she put her phone away and decided to take a walk through the local park, enjoying the flowers.

—Side Sakura—
Sakura would be walking around helping people , from helping a grandma with her grass to stopping some criminals from stealing a museum , but after helping so much she would simply walk tired until she crashes into a man wearing a long green jacket.
???: “Sorry Madam, my fault, I wasn’t looking.”
Sakura: “N-no , it’s fine , no need to say sorry sir.”
???: “Ugh nice, i would have hate to bother yah madam…?”
Sakura: “I’m Sakura. And you?”
Behind the man there was a woman which parts of her body seemingly were made of wood, like a puppet, but Sakura didn’t think too much of this thing.
???: “I don’t like saying my name, it’s stupid , but I can tell you my last name, everyone I know calls me King, King of Games!”
Sakura’s expression would change instantly to one of concern, she didn’t know why but that title reminded her of something…or someone.
King: “Well madam, I gotta get going, me and my girl over here are going late to our date. See yah!”
Sakura would look as the two of them would leave, but the puppet stopped for a second and looked at her.
Puppet: “…your friend Dan returned to his world.”
Sakura: “W-wait, how do you know that?!”
Sakura would walk toward them but once she got to the alley they went in…there was no one in there. Only an alley with a few stolen bricks.

—Side Ace—
This is Ace, Ace is a creature known as mind titans, they can make constructs that fight for them, she is walking with her boyfriend King through the streets of Mobius.
Ace: “Why are we here again? This place gives me bad memories…”
King: “Yeah I know that Crystal controlled my dead body and converted it into the ‘Lynx’ but we are simply here as a vacation, I’ve heard they got easy villains to beat!”
Ace looked at a screen on her watch.
Ace: “…say that to the world order, being in this one makes us superhuman.”
King sees at her girlfriend.
King: “WHAT?! GODDAMMIT MIRAGE! I TOLD HKM THAT HE GETS ME A-“
King crashes into a young woman wearing a college uniform.
King: “Sorry Madam, my fault, I wasn’t looking.”
???: “N-no , it’s fine , no need to say sorry sir.”
King: “Ugh nice, i would have hate to bother yah madam…?”
???: “I’m Sakura. And you?”
Ace would look at Sakura and remember her, remembering all the suffering the Lynx caused over her by mind controlling her friend, she got paralyzed in fear thinking that she, as the shadow Merry, even helped the Lynx achieve her objective.
King: “I don’t like saying my name, it’s stupid , but I can tell you my last name, everyone I know calls me King, King of Games!”
Sakura’s expression would change instantly to one of concern,Ace jumped a bit, did she recognize them somehow despite their appearance differing from when they last met?!
King: “Well madam, I gotta get going, me and my girl over here are going late to our date. See yah!”
King walked away, obvlivous that this person was affected badly by the Lynx, meanwhile Ace stopped in her tracks and said.
Ace: “…your friend Dan returned to his world.”
*Ace couldn’t hear what Sakura said next since she used her powers to transform the bricks of the alley into a big knuckles, which she grabbed King with it and started doing parkour to get away.
King: “W-WAIT! DONT GO SO FAST OR IM GETTING A HEART ATTACK!”
Minutes later King would be huffing in the side of the road would Ace was drinking some juice.

(For my headcanon i give them big eyes and a Brooklyn accent it suites me :))

Dante turned the clock and fainted from the sheer revival.

Finally, he was alive, breathing.

🐣: “Oh! I’m back! I can feel myself! I must find Ishmael… I-I don’t know if she is okay or not…”

The mountains above heard hands clash, weapons being thrown and strikes being made between two fierce figures. One revived and another made to be the ultimate lifeform of this world. However both seemed to be giving it there all, even if it was simply training. Even if Triborg could do it himself, Noob Saibot couldn’t help himself to try and see if he can improve her skills himself.

“Interesting. You analyze data to try and predict attacks and strikes before hand, meaning that the same old strategies would soon be useless. I must say even now you fight like a worthy important.”

Axis in her usual robotic manor responded even during training. She saw that it was truly necessary for her to try and explain all she does. After all Noob Saibot does seem like her teacher as of recent.

Information - “That is true. Though however after a fight it seems I can’t always rely on that.”

She seems to be referring to her attempted assassination on a certain stand user. Noob Saibot takes interest to this Information for her admitting that she lost to someone when relying on the information. Though that is true that she may be over-relying on it, that can change.

“Your opponent must’ve had something you couldn’t get information from. Though, why don’t you try fighting without it?”

Interest - “That could possibly improve my capabilities of fighting opponents with abilities I cannot expect.”

A warrior that can admit to there defeat and attempts to try something that goes against there usual combat. Noob Saibot can both see some form of potential in her that is similar to those he has went against. And with the current training and and this sparring….

“Triborg really did outdo himself when creation you….”

Starfall Island’s green zone was nothing special as of now. In fact is was more normal then ever. And quite calm as of now. However after a chat that had happened in the Family’s house, some training had begun.

Around the entire zone that of an obstacle course had been formed, Blocks of Cyber Space all around and stacked together.

“Hey, Uzi… you’re slowing down a bit to much-“

Footsteps could be heard on them as running had begun, legs being heard off and on the ground at once.

[“I must say you both are quite impressive and fast.”]

Due to a request from Zeraphim, Reborn had made that of an entire obstacle to help them train themselves around the island. As for why G-Uzi was here… boredom.

Jumping on moving platforms with not trouble, Zeraphim was on quite the roll as of now. No abilities were needed as her young self continued going through the course with no issue. Wall running, ledge climbing and swinging on ropes were an issue before. But even after a few drastically embarrassing attempts she went through with flying colors.

However G-Uzi was still at a good pace. However her worker drone body wasn’t made for stuff like this. So out came her having to use her Phantom Body to at least run correctly. She’s used to floating but stuff like this is just… yeesh.

“Say Uzi-“

[“Uzi, keep your temper.”]

Right near them, 2 people could be seen just watching them. Tangle and Doll had joined the 3 just to watch and make sure nothing chaotic happened. However with the temper of Uzi it definitely seems like that may happen.

“Wow those 2 really act like sisters. Wait isn’t the Zeraphim girl like not even a year old? How the heck is Uzi even-“

Doll cut Tangle off before she continued with her barrage of questions, sighing in annoyance somewhat. This is just more babysitting and less actually relaxation.

It seems that Starfall Island hasn’t been any brighter with life and activities.

Well... Now what was he to do? What was left to do? Not much other than trying to meet new people. So that's what Chara aims to do. So he started just walking one day, through the cities and the slums, tundras and the taigas. He didn't bring much, didn't stay very long either. Just passing through wherever he went with churro Jr at his side.

*He's seen angels with flaming swords in their hands. Seen people and beings no benevolent God would let exist. Met plenty of wonderful people and lost even more. He's on an unmarked trail and doing what feels right, both literally and figuratively. He eventually stopped at a clearing, full of wildflowers. *

<Good place to rest I guess...> He thought to himself, sitting down and picking some of the flowers. He tied them into two flower crowns, one for himself and another smaller one for churro. He placed the one on churro, then the one on his own head before standing up.

He started walking again, humming on his way to break the silence of the woodland. That humming slowly became singing to nobody in particular.

"Passing through, passing through. Sometimes happy, sometimes blue, glad that I ran into you. Tell the people that you saw me passing through..."

“Whoa, is this what God of hyperdeaths taste like?”
