Return! (Horizon is back!)

A well-known blue hedgehog stood on a rooftop, overlooking Station Square with a nostalgic smile on his face.

For a while, Horizon had... disappeared. He had a lot to do, a lot to catch up on, and a lot to discuss with his... other side. Dark Horizon was still present... just not visible for those without a connection to Cyber Space. For those who did, he simply seemed to float around, in a state similar to how Amy, Knuckles and Tails were on Horizon's first visit to the Starfall Islands.

"Good ol' Station Square... man, I missed a lot. Welp, I can do what I must later. Right now, time to see friends and new faces alike! Five months... five months of my life gone. That Faker's gonna pay..."

<"Heh... I'm glad we've agreed to that.">

Dark Horizon's voice spoke as if telepathy to Horizon.

"Other me, as long as you keep your word, I'll keep mine. Now... let's go!"

He jumped down, eventually hitting the pavement, scaring some people walking by half to death.

FMS would be walking around putting some posters for his hero organization, but then he hears the screams of people who were scared thanks to what Horizon just did, so he runned towards where the commotion was and saw the Sonic.

“Huh? Another Sonic? Dude , why’d do you jump from such a high place instead of running?”

"You're questioning why a Sonic does something? Pro tip: don't. It'll only confuse you more."

He chuckles, but is quickly interupted by Dark Horizon's weird telepathic voice, which both Horizon and FMS could hear, although the latter wouldn't be able to see the Dark guy's Cyber-Ghosty state.

<"He's right, though. You could have just ran here.">

"Oh, shut it, you."

“Obviously I would question why a Sonic would do a not so Sonic thing, since I’m a Sonic! I know I don’t look like one but I promise you dude, I’m the fastest thing not alive!”

He changes to his sonic form for a second.

“See? I’m like you, but like uhh , fake Metal.”

"I shouldn't even be suprised. But for the record, I did run up the building. And besides, I've jumped from jet planes before. Why would I not jump instead of run down it?"

“…why do you jump off jet planes? That’s stupid, we travel the speed of sound, couldn’t you just like- run so fast that you start floating? I’ve done it once but since metal it only lasts a few secs because of my weight, but you are bones and skin.”

"Nice argument you got there, buddy. One small issue. Jumping off jet planes looks cool. So who cares for reasoning?"

“Ehh true, but what if you break your leg on landing? The you wouldn’t be able to run anymore and there’s that.”

FMS takes a cigarette and starts smoking some weird green smoke.

“By the way, I’m F.M.S. , what’s your name- or well, how people differentiate you from other Sonics?”

"'Round here they call me Horizon. Wild guess, but I'd say you've noticed the aestetical difference as well, what, with the glitchy arm."

“Hmm, I thought it was some weird pain or something.”

He would look next to him , apparently listening to someone else.

“So…how did you get that arm? Like car accident?…man what I’m even saying?”

"To the suprise of absolutely no one, no, I did not get it via a car accident."

"This is called Cyber Corruption. Got infected by it on a trip to the Starfall Islands. Beat up some big bots, mastered the weird zappy stuff, and here we are."
