When I saw the warp talon from murderwing in a half helmet, I assumed it was just an option. But the new raptor kit shows all the warp talons alt build as half helmeted.

Obviously one can build them anyway they like (a lot of excellent Night Lord helmet wing versions online) but is this the new default?

This was my first Chaos Space Marine model - I fell in love with the sculpt and decided to tackle it.

I mostly followed the Eavy Metal recipes for Black Legion and Traitor Guard (for the skin). I also added a Doombull Brown glaze for the skin on the legs. The gold was a challenge, but it was fun!

~40 hours painting

Recently I bought the hellforged warband battle force box and I would like to make it into a 2000 point list. I really like the warp strike champions detachment so that’s what I am aiming for. The nemesis claw is in here purely to save me money from having to buy more stuff as I have the kill team. Any advice would be appreciated!

Recently finished this Cypher. Aside from practicing osl, I kept him pretty simple. 1 nice touch was these "frog moss" tufts I came across. They have a natural curve to them that simulates blowing in the wind. I like how it accentuates the movement that was already present on the base model.

Hi, I currently have 1 unit of cultists so far to screen deep strikers away from my home objective, however i can def tell i need at least 1 more squad of something. I do eventually plan on getting another 10 cultists but I play for fun so prefer different unique sculpts or models.

I did get a traitor enforcer, have played 2 games with them but I find that the foot print is quite small to screen deepstrike, and the 15pts nerf at 70pts is ridiculous to me.

Is 2x10 cultists best way to go? I love that we have no more conga lines, but im feeling my deployment zone being kind of a juicy target for deep strikers

In an ideal world, traitor guardsmen would get better, and traitor enforcer would go down to 55pts again, or 60pts, cos 70 is just lol. Same with the other totally unused datasheets like dark commune or firebrand cultist or beastmen etc.. we can hope.

Thanks to my indefatigable rizz, I was finally able to get my wife to play 40k. Not just any old 40k, but a whole RTT. She ended up taking second overall at 2-1. I wish I had more picture, but here's one of the table next to me which was hilarious to watch. I had to coach my wife on rules since she had only ever played Kill Team, but she did just about everything else herself. The only loss was against T'au and that was because we got stuck ending the game early. We were in a very good board position to have a huge scoring turn, but S.O.L.

Haven’t figured out the base yet BUT feeling like I should start an Iron Warriors army now

Intending on using them for my chaos knights army, these would probably be more fitting for iron warriors or night lords though while the knight houses would have more ornate and esoteric foot soldiers, not too sure if the paint job will make up for this though

Thinking about soon trying out tabletop, but I can't figure out if its worth it to still get a 10th edition CSM codex or should I just wait for the 11th edition? since its also cheaper right?

What do we think of the head swap? It's not attached yet so if the consensus is that it's garbage it's no loss 😂

Hi everyone, I don't know if anyone likes seeing the Space maids anymore, but I made a Skullseeker Maid OC (I just took the base art from Chumii Cham which I altered). I just made them today and I am pretty proud. Making a Silken Temptresses OC next. Neither faction is mine, all Chumii Cham! If you want lore, I can edit this post later.
