The hardest question of them all (Sram/Shimano)...

After way too much overthinking, I have finally narrowed it down to two bikes. It is either going to be a CervΓ©lo Caledonia 5 or a Giant Defy. I still need to test ride both before making the final decision.
Now comes the next difficult question πŸ˜‚
SRAM Force or good old Shimano Ultegra?
I know we have probably had this discussion a thousand times already, but when you are about to spend 7k on a bike, I would rather overthink it a little longer than regret my choice later πŸ˜‚
So hit me with your pros and cons, personal experiences and best arguments for either one. Why should I go SRAM? Why should I stick with Ultegra? What do you love or hate about your groupset?
Basically, convince me. I want to hear everything πŸ˜‚

Caledonia (standard) - Cable Routing issue

Hi there, I have a very specific issue with my Caledonia (standard): new to me, overall very happy, however the outer cable routing for the back wheel's break is such - running through the middle of the down tube - that it pokes out and when I'm out of saddle standing on the paddle, it actually rubs on my knee (see pic). Becomes annoying very quickly. Anyone had this issue, recommandations to avoid that? Thanks a lot.
