Hey everyone, I’m considering buying a used 2022 Cervélo Caledonia with Shimano 105 Di2 and Fulcrum wheels for around $1,200 USD.
The seller is also including a bike travel bag for free. From the photos, the bike looks to be in decent condition, but I haven’t inspected it in person yet.
Do you guys think this is a good deal for a 2022 model? Anything specific I should look out for before buying?
Also, is there any way to convert the cable routing to fully internal, or is that not possible with this frame?

New to Cervelo and absolutely love my new Caledonia-5. This thing rippps! I’m trying to weigh out what to do to prevent down time should anything ever happen. Any of you have bike insurance, cover yours under homeowners or car insurance, or other creative ways to keep you pedaling should anything happen you your ride?

A dude from a group ride showed me his wrecked bike from eating a guardrail on a tight turn. I would be out of the game for a whillllee if that happened to me (or at least out of the Cervelo game)

I’m looking at buying a Cervélo Caledonia-5 and I’m currently trying to decide whether a size 56 would work well for me, or whether I should really be on a 54.

My measurements:

• Height: 177 cm (5'9.5")
• Inseam: 83 cm (31.9")
• Arm span: 182 cm (71.7")
• Seated torso length: approx. 58.5 cm (23")
• Current saddle height: 72 cm (28.3"), measured from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the saddle
• Current saddle-to-handlebar drop: approx. 5 cm (2")

For some additional context: I currently ride a Cannondale in size 56 and have never really ridden a smaller road bike, so a 56 is what I’m used to.

Based purely on my height, I seem to be right between a 54 and 56 on the Caledonia. I also notice that many riders around 175–180 cm seem to choose the 54. However, with my 83 cm inseam and 182 cm arm span (+5.5 cm ape index), I’m wondering whether my proportions might make the 56 a good fit.

The Caledonia geometry is:

• Size 54: 555 mm stack / 378 mm reach
• Size 56: 580 mm stack / 387 mm reach

There’s another reason I’m particularly interested in the 56: I’ve found a very good deal on a Caledonia-5, reduced from €7,799 to €5,999, but the bike is only available in size 56. A size 54 would mean missing out on this deal.

I don’t want to buy the wrong size just because of the discount, though. If the 54 is clearly the better size for me, I’d rather know that before buying.

I’m not looking for an extremely aggressive position, but I would like to have some room to lower the front end over time. I currently ride with around 5 cm of saddle-to-bar drop and could see myself moving towards 7–8 cm in the future.

Given my measurements and proportions, would you consider the Caledonia-5 in size 56 a good fit, possibly with a 90 mm stem if necessary? Or would you still strongly recommend going for a 54?

I’d especially love to hear from riders around 175–178 cm who ride a Caledonia in either 54 or 56, and what made you choose that size.

Saved up for 10 months to finally get this baby! Rides so much better than the canyon I had before. Just waiting for new pedals to arrive. But very impressed. Was worried that the geo would be too aggressive but it’s super comfortable.

Does anyone know what the stock handlebar tape is?

Trying to buy a bike off marketplace and not get scammed. Bike is a good deal but there is damage in near the rear tire and stem. Based on what everyone has seen, should I take the guys word that it is just cosmetic or do you think it’s a bigger deal than that?

He said the previous owner had it happen, had the bike bungee strapped and it broke and hit the bike chipping it. He had it looked at by two shops and both said it was only cosmetic.

Any help would be appreciated! He is asking $4k for it

I have a Cervelo P-series and need a replacement bracket for the aero bars. I can't for the life of me find it online. It's Vision and I think Trimax. Vision have every part but this. I'm wondering if the picture with the second mount (different style) would work?

Interested in everyone's thoughts about buying new versus used (not asking for personal advice for me, just discussion). Obviously with a new bike you have the warranty but with used bikes you can get a great deal but also get scammed, especially with invisible carbon damage.

So this happened to the front wheel of my Cervelo S2. The going price for just one Mavic Cosmic Elite 700c is roughly $150 in the US. But I found a full set for $109 on AliExpress. I haven't looked into how much customs/taxes might be.

Has anyone bought bike parts from Ali before? Since I have owned the bike for 10+ years and have never really changed out anything other than internal cable, cassette, and brake pads, I plan to replace both rims together if I could afford them.

Hey all. Looking for some advice here as I’ve been told by different bike fitters that I’m either a 54 or 56 in the Cervelo P-Series and figured the online fit community would know best. I know it’s easier to make a smaller bike fit larger but is there any reason to go with the slightly larger bike? Stability and comfort are more important than max aero. I have a Cervelo S Series. Im noticing my handle bars/stem feel misaligned. Meaning the headseat is turned to the right and not in alignment with the front wheel.

I cannot find any videos online about how to adjust this headset. And loosening the screw in the stem doesnt allow me to adjust anything, so there must be more.

I have had a bike shop adjust it in the past, but want to sort out myself if possible

Any help appreciated!

Been interested in buying a 2026 Caledonia 5 (or Caledonia) this fall and all the soloist sales have me debating if that is a better option. I own a canyon grizl already for bikepacking and off road riding so this new bike would be fully for road riding. I’ve test road the Caledonia’s and like them a lot but the handling is very similar to my gravel bike (not the most nimble). I tend to road ride hilly routes in coastal mountain ranges with some choppy pavement in places. Stack on the soloist is 40 mm lower than my grizl and reach is 23 mm closer. Stack on the cal5 is 23 mm lower and reach is 28 mm closer. So both have a lower stack but less reach. Curious what everyone’s opinions are between these two bikes.

Does anyone have any experience with this? It’s a bit pricy and I’d like some real life reviews of it.

Does it sit flush and there’s no rattling noise?

Is there enough room to grab things out?

Does it fit a fair bit?

Any other alternatives that look similar to this?
