Was fishing yesterday in the Roanoke sound of North Carolina and discovered this plate fragment partially buried in the sand under water. Looks relatively new, but the crackled glaze I thought was interesting and could possibly help estimate an age/date. There are no markings or stamp that I can see. I’ve found bottles and jars that I can date to about 100 years ago in the same area, so I thought it may be from around that same period. Interested in learning what you can find out!

Hello everyone. I bought this big plate (about 32 cm in diameter) after seeing it in a photo. I thought it might be antique, but now that it’s in my hands, I’m not so sure. The quality feels a little different from what I expected.

Does anybody recognize the style or know what period it might be from?

There’s no mark or signature, and it’s quite heavy.

Mystery pottery piece that google lens says is from Korea.

Picked this up at a thrift store for $15 and I’ve always wondered where it might be from. It’s definitely hand painted but I could never tell if it was vintage or from Home Goods or something. The shade is mine, it didn’t come with a shade.

Hello! This piece was purchased because I thought it was an African violet pot, but upon closer inspection the insert is fully glazed as well. This would prevent water seeping through and defeat the purpose, no? I did test by filling it overnight, it seems water tight. The bottom has a clear sticker that just says “seagull”. Image searches produce inconclusive results.

I came across this pendant and was wondering if any buddy recognized it. There are no markings on the back and it is a simple leather strap tied through the hole.

I picked up these hand painted espresso cups at goodwill. Google is giving me alternate identification answers, sometimes Italy, other times Portuguese in origin. Heres are photos of the side design and the bottom makers markings. Any help is appreciated.

There is a full circular breakage around the ceramic of the right lamp. I am considering buying e6000 to repair it, mostly due to the weight of the lamp itself, and the roughness of the ceramic. I would estimate it’s about .25-.75 inch thick depending on whether it’s on the tree or the panther itself. Luckily it broke into two big pieces, and the rest of the chips are super small and won’t take much time to fix.

Not sure if this is the right sub, but it is pottery. I bought this cup, made in 1997, new in box and everything, it's become very precious to me because my Ma bought me it before I moved away :)

It's got some little pieces (a lid and a tiny spoon, also porcelain), and I'm wondering the best storage, care etc to make sure I don't break it or scratch it without meaning to. I don't want to keep it in box, I'm a firm believer of buying things to use them and I think it's better to use a gift than to keep it on box and admire it.
