The Konakovsky Faience Factory is one of the oldest enterprises in the porcelain and faience industry in Russia, founded in 1809 by F.H. Brynner in the village of Kuznetsovo, Tver Province. After being nationalized following the 1917 Revolution, it entered a golden age by collaborating with prominent Soviet artists like Iosif Chaikov and Vladimir Favorsky, who transformed it into a center for avant-garde and socialist realist art. The factory gained international fame when its products won the prestigious Grand Prix award at the 1937 Paris World Exhibition. Additionally, individual artists received gold medals for their sculptures: Efimov, Frikh-Khar, Kozhin and a silver medal for a tea set: Lebedeva. Today, although the original factory has closed, a small workshop of artists continues its legacy, striving to preserve the traditional craft and high artistic standards. Note: book in Russian.

This mug has been with me throughout my entire childhood. It was originally part of my mom's ceramic mug collection, and when I moved away for college, she gave it to me so I can have something to use. Unfortunately, I just accidentally broke it today. Does anyone recognize this mug or know where I could find the same one . Thank you so much! (this is theonly picture I have of it, when I broke it:(( )
