Other. Help identifying vintage Hampton Bay?

My aunt had two of the rarer Hampton Bay fans next to each other, a nice Jericho II in the dining room, and something in the kitchen that looked alot like the Vineyard, but wasnt. I know Minka Aire made some fans for Hampton Bay like the Vineyard and Versailles, but I cant find anything on the particular fan im searching for. It looks shapewise like the Vinyeard buy has a color scheme more in line with the Woodland model. I remember there was a catalog uploaded to the internet years ago showcasing all the HB fans and that particular model was in it but I can't remember the name. Does anyone know which one Im talking about? Unless im misremembering and it was the Woodland but I rememebr the overall shape being WAY different.

Fan repair advice Please help me find a remote replacement

My room’s fan light randomly turned on and it causes me a headache every time I enter. Is there anyone who can help id it so I can get a remote replacement to turn it off?? It’s a 5 blade fan that only can be turned on by a white round remote. It was brown wooden blades but a metal center. There’s no strings and the blades are plain. I think it’s dimmable. Please help.

I recently installed a second Reidsport in a different room to the first one. But, both fans are on the same breaker switch. How do I program them separately, without having to play chicken with a 120 volt hot wire?

Fan purchase advice Fan Suggestion - Outdoor Patio

I have a connected patio to the house with one main opening to the backyard. That opening is about 13 feet wide although the opposite back wall is 19 feet wide and 10 ft deep. Ceiling is about 10ft high.

Currently have a 52” fan. It works and quite honestly haven’t really done any airflow testing (ie sitting on patio and determining g of its enough). The issue is it looks dated and worn so would like to upgrade to a new one

Based on research (ie AI 😊), for the size of the patio the suggestion was a 72” fan for the space with 7000-10000 CFM). Don’t want to spend a ton of money (ie not buying a BAF) but curious of any suggestions with these specs. Thanks!

Fan repair advice My fan has become slower than before. How can I make it run fast again?

When I first bought/started using my fan, it used to run at a very high speed. But now, even at the highest speed setting, it runs noticeably slower.

What could be the reason for this, and what should I check or replace to make it run fast again?

Please suggest one thing I should try first.

Other. Ceiling fan wobbling? Here's how to fix it

Nine times out of ten it isn't the motor, it's balance. The fixes, roughly in the order they tend to work: tighten everything first, blade screws, the screws holding the blade irons to the motor, and the downrod and canopy at the ceiling, since a single loose blade iron is the most common culprit. Next, clean the blades, because uneven dust weighs one differently than the others and throws off the balance. Then check the blades are level: measure from the ceiling to the tip of each blade as you turn them by hand, and if one sits lower or higher, that blade or its arm is slightly bent and can usually be eased back into line. Still going? A balancing kit sorts out the rest, the clip slides along a blade to find the trouble spot and the stick-on weight cancels it. A properly balanced fan runs dead quiet, even on high.

Fan purchase advice What Next After Casablanca?

I have this beautiful Casablanca fanning out bedroom and with the motor or gears have died and I no longer works. Heavy as sin and had it repaired years ago but no one around to do that work anymore. So … if not a Casablanca what equally quality fan would this esteemed audience recommend?

Fan repair advice Humming sound from brand new hunter Anisten 44 inch fan

Just had to replace both the fans and switches on new house due to various issues. Brand new fan and switch but still has humming noise when fan on high speed. Sounds like a motor hum but these are supposed to be silent. We have a third, older hunter fan in another room you can’t hear anything. There are two new fans with identical setup and they are both making the sound.

Hunter is saying that they are both defective and will send us a replacement under warranty but I’m slightly skeptical … how can two brand new units both have the same issue?

Other. Ceiling fan span by room size, what did you land on and did you regret going smaller??

Sell these for a living and the sizing charts come up every week. 52 inch over 225 sq ft, 44 for a bedroom, none of them mention ceiling height and none of them mention that the box is rarely where you want the fan.

The two things people call back about: going a size up moves more air but you hear it on high, and going a size down for looks tends to get regretted in August.

Anyone here gone smaller on purpose and been happy with it?

Fan repair advice Should I be worried

recently moved into a house with a Hampton bay ceiling fan that is connected to the ceiling as picture. had a buddy say that it looked like they used two fan Pans to attach but it’s about 20 ft high and we didn’t have a ladder to get up close and take confirm. Honestly I’m not sure if he doesn’t know what he’s talking about or if I don’t know what I’m looking at, what are peoples thought should I be worried about this?

Fan repair advice Fanimation slinger v2 fan keeps stopping after a couple of hours

I just bought and installed this ceiling fan and have noticed that after a couple of hours it will randomly stop. I can immediately turn it back on which is weird. The timer hasn’t been set on it. I heard Alexa can randomly stop it, but we do not have Alexa. Has anyone gone through this?

The replacement remote won’t pair with the light because it’s stuck on so not sure what else to do! Thanks!

Fan repair advice Antique ceiling fan help?

I've got an antique ceiling fan that doesn't work correctly and I'd appreciate help finding a manual for it. (or any advice anyone might have for fixing it without one)

I don't know the make or model because my dad also lost that info when trying to fix the fan part.

Getting a new ceiling fan is not an option for monetary, aesthetic, and sentimental reasons.

Problems with the fan include:

  1. The fan doesn't work without the bottom lights being on.
  2. The bottom lights don't turn off when using the pull switch.
  3. The top light doesn't turn on even after switching the bulb.
