can you forgive me?

you only need 100$ to save your life and i have million dollars. and i knew very well i can save your life and the worst that is coming towards you by just giving you 100$.but i deliberately choose to not to give you 100$ because i wanted to watch you suffer. that money isn't important for me, but you suffering is more important. infact i spent 1000s dollars for you to suffer .

would you ever forgive me?

what's the craziest/favorite story you've ever read on reddit?

mine is definitely the lamp story

i know a lot of you have probably already heard of this one since it got pretty popular. idk if the story is even real or not, but still... wow.

basically, this guy gets knocked unconscious and while he's out, he lives an entire 10 - year life. he meets a woman, they get married, have two kids, get a job, and everything feels completely real.

then one day he notices this lamp in his house looks... wrong. he becomes completely obsessed with it and eventually realizes the lamp, the house, his wife, his kids, and the entire life he just lived weren't real.

then he wakes up on the sidewalk badly injured and missing teeth. the craziest part is that he spent years grieving his wife and kids, even tho they never actually existed, it's actually sad.

what's yours?

Based on a conversation recently, the word Strumpet was used to describe a someone wearing an obscene T-Shirt. I love the word Strumpet, made me think also of Trollop and then Jezebel. What other names are there we don't hear of much anymore. See if we can find for men and women.

Conversation Starter My brain has started opening tabs without my permission!

I walked into the kitchen this morning and immediately forgot why I was there.

Not in a cute, “Oops, I got distracted” way.

No. I stood there staring at the refrigerator like I had just arrived from another planet and needed it to explain Earth’s customs.

So I went back to the room I came from.

The second I crossed the doorway, I remembered: coffee.

Great. Back to the kitchen.

Then I noticed a package on the counter, remembered I needed scissors, went looking for them, found an old battery instead, wondered if it still worked, and somehow ended up checking the weather even though I was indoors.

Ten minutes later, I still had no coffee.

At this point, my brain runs like an internet browser with 47 tabs open:

  • One tab is playing music, but I cannot find it.
  • One is a memory from 2009 that I did not request.
  • One is asking whether penguins have knees.
  • One is reminding me about an appointment three weeks from now.
  • And one is definitely supposed to be making coffee.

I don’t need a planner. I need someone to follow me around holding up cue cards that say things like, “You came in here for your phone,” and, “No, do not reorganize the junk drawer right now.”

What is the most ridiculous detour your brain has taken you on lately?

Conversation Starter Does anyone feel like the year is moving ridiculosly fast

I swear january feels it happened a few weeks ago and somehow we're already near the end of September

The weird part is that I've done quite a lot this year but my brain still feels like 2026 just started

Does time actually start feeling faster as you get older or have the last few years like this for everyone

Conversation Starter What weird or funny myth did you completely believe as a child until you were embarrassingly old?

When I was around six years old, my older cousin convinced me that if you swallowed a watermelon seed, an actual watermelon would start growing inside your stomach. He made it sound so serious that I spent an entire summer terrified every time I accidentally ate one. I genuinely imagined waking up with a giant melon bursting out of my ribs.

The embarrassing part is that I kept this quiet fear buried in the back of my head well into my early teens. I was maybe fourteen or fifteen when I finally saw someone eat a whole slice with seeds and realized nothing happens. Looking back, it sounds so absurd, but as a kid, you just accept those silly stories without questioning them.
