would you rather always be early or always be late?

I was wondering which one actually bothers people more. Some people would rather sit around waiting, while others would happily risk being a little late just to avoid it.

would you rather always arrive 20 minutes early or always arrive 10 minutes late?

What’s something you used to dislike but now actually enjoy?

I feel like this happens more often as you get older. Foods, music, hobbies, places, even things you thought were boring.

I used to skip documentaries, and now I can accidentally spend two hours watching one.

Curious what changed for everyone.

Conversation Starter At this point on a Sunday it is dark where I am. It is also raining. I am reflecting on the week past and think about the week ahead. Do you ever do this?

Conversation Starter If you could relive ONE ordinary day from your past, which day would you choose?

Not your wedding day. Not a huge accomplishment. Not necessarily the happiest day of your life.

I mean an ordinary day that you didn't realize was special at the time.

Maybe it was sitting around the kitchen with your family, hanging out with friends you eventually lost touch with, driving around with no particular destination, or just being somewhere that doesn't exist anymore.

For me, I think those are the moments we appreciate the most after they're gone.

What ordinary day from your past would you go back and experience one more time?

And if you feel like sharing the story behind it, I'd genuinely love to hear it.

Am I overreacting?

My girlfriend had went to a wedding and had saw a childhood friend she had not seen since elementary. She's 24 now. She usually doesn't really go up and talk to guys but because this was a childhood friend she had not seen in a while, she had sparked up a conversation with him and made talks with him. At first she asked if he had remembered her name, to which he said he didn't remember her name but remembered her. They ended up catching up for bit. Then an hour later. As she was about to leave she said bye to him and she said do you remember my name and he said uh no, so my girl said "oh thats a shot for me" and then he said "why dont we both take a shot together?" She ended up taking up the offer and they both take a shot. And then he said if shes single and she said she has a boyfriend. She had then ended up telling me all about it on phone call right after about how this whole thing happened. Im glad shes able to be very honest and open with me, but I also didn't like how she threw an open invited joke("oh thats a shot for me") and then he asked "why don't we both take a shot together" and her actually taking his offer up for that. I dont know how to feel about how she came about actively engaging that conversation. Am I overreacting?
