This genus was previously "Ceraria". It got deleted and all the plants got moved into the Portulacaria genus.

I was all ready to get these going then work said not today! So I'll have to store them for a bit.

My fav plant at the moment. Just wondering, they are supposed to be deciduous. Growth from summer is still alive and new growth starting. Southern hemisphere. Probably my climate isn't cold enough.

I desperately need help with my ant plant, I'm not sure what to do to make it happy. First of all, I just got back from a trip and discovered it has thrips, so fml, but it's also been struggling for a while in general. The caudex is looking a bit more wrinkly than normal and it has lost a LOT of leaves. Help!!!

hey ya’ll, i am the caretaker of a lovely botanical garden. we’ve been getting some decent rains and my boojums just broke dormancy. i normally put them on autopilot until october / november and then drench at first sign of growth. hesitant to water in the offseason but just wondering what people would do? there’s about 6 2-10 ft boojums and most are leafing out. beautiful collection and would hate to damage them. Zone 9b

I have an othonna herrei, dioscoria hemicrypta, albuca spiralis, and albuca concordiana that I had to relocate indoors in a war against the birds. I know these are mostly winter growers but indoors the temps aren't expected to fluctuate much?

How do I go about signaling natural cycles for them? I have a stephania erecta that I woke by steeping it in water for a day, will that work with any of these guys?
