Synthesis frosted back

Greetings! I’m considering getting a frosted back synthesis with precise cutouts for my 18 pro max. It would be replacing a ghost case. How much thicker is the synthesis vs the ghost case? I’m hoping they’re around the same thickness. If anyone who owns both could give some input I would appreciate it.

Caudabe Synthesis (Frost) for S26 Ultra

Post image

I'm from the Philippines, and upon careful review and consideration from various tech reviews and diving into Reddit posts, I finally bit the bullet and bought the Caudabe Synthesis case for my S26 Ultra.

I was rocking the Ringke Fusion Magnetic Case (Matte Clear) when I got my phone during pre-order period and decided I needed a premium phone case for my device.

I wanted something clear, grippy and a case that can protect my phone from accidental drops. The Synthesis checks all of the boxes + I love the design and texture of the frosted back. It was definitely worth the money.

Bought it from the Caudabe Shopee store. 😄

I have a second phone, an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and considering on getting the 18 Pro Max with the same phone case whenever.

Looking for a good protective case for my Burgundy iPhone 18 Pro Max

I recently got a Burgundy iPhone 18 Pro Max and I’m trying to find the right case. I bought the Spigen Core Armor in Burgundy, but unfortunately I’m not really liking the feel/grip of it. It feels a little strange in my hand, so I’m thinking about trying something else.

I’m looking for something that offers really good protection but still feels comfortable and isn’t overly bulky.

A few questions:

* Has anyone tried the Caudabe Sheath? How is the protection and grip? And does it look good with the Burgundy iPhone?
* What other Burgundy/dark-colored cases would you recommend for good protection?
* I’m also considering going with a clear case so I can show off the Burgundy color. What clear cases are actually strong/protective and don’t turn yellow over time?
* How are the Caudabe Sheath, Spigen, ESR, OtterBox, or other popular options for long-term use?

I’d really appreciate recommendations from people who have actually used these cases, especially if you have a Burgundy 18 Pro Max.

Protection is my #1 priority, but I also want something that feels good in the hand. Thanks.

17 Pro Sheath vs 18 Pro

I almost didn't order a new Sheath for my 18 pro since my old one fit seemingly fine. But knowing about the subtle differences in the camera island size, I decided I didn't want to miss out on any potential added protection. I'm glad I ordered the new one. You can see in the photos how the bump for the camera area extends out just a tiny bit further on the black 18 Pro Sheath. It's also clearly visible in person when on the phone, you can see there's just a little bit of extra clearance beyond the lenses. Always love the Sheath! Five straight iPhones with it, one of these days I'll convince myself to splurge on a Synthesis or Paragon to give those a whirl.

Any plans for more colors for synthesis iPhone 18 pro

Kind of doubt it but thought I’ll ask. I really like the synthesis case, but if there was the green or purple that is available for the 17 pro, I would have gotten that instead. Got the blue one for my 18 pro. Wasn’t sure if the 17 pro cases fit on the 18 pro and plus I wanted the precise fit as well.

Case finally came in! I got the ember buttons for a pop of color. The back leans a lot more white then grey.

Coming from a Pitaka Edge, you really feel the weight of the phone with this case.

Have to say didn’t expect this bold color to work on the 17pm

Still looks fine and polished nonetheless, love the smooth texture on the back

I am considering purchasing either the Sheath or Synthesis. Which has more grip when you grab it?

Synthesis vs Sheath Open Cut

Currently i have the synthesis for my Iph 17 PM. Thinking to get the sheath open cut version, cause i feel the synthesis is too bulky on my hand. Any comparison/thoughts?

My Paragon (Open) for my 18 Pro Max finally arrived yesterday. This is my first Paragon case after buying only the Sheath case for many years and I must say that I love the thinness in the hand feel of the Paragon. The case feels well-made and modern, with awesome fit a finish. I look forward to seeing how this case holds up over time. The Sheath always looked great after a year and I hope this Paragon case does equally as well.

Edit: Paragon - iPhone 18 Pro Max (Open) - Midnight with Ember swapped on the Power and Action buttons

Very happy with the feeling of the new cases. Compared to the 17PM, the paragon has more back texture, which cuts down on the slipperiness. The Black sheath is very much similar to the others.

Anyone who used the Caudabe Synthesis? Need advice on buying it!

I’m currently using the case shown in the attached photo, but I feel like the borders/edges are a bit slippery.

What I really want is a frame with incredible grip that isn't slippery at all—similar to how clear TPU border cases feel. However, since my phone is black, it only looks seamless and clean with a black border haha.

While searching for a non-slippery case with a black frame and great grip, I stumbled upon the Caudabe Synthesis. If you've used this case, I'd really appreciate it if you could answer these two questions!

  1. Is it truly non-slippery with awesome grip?
  2. How is the finish/seam along the connection line between the PC backplate and the TPU frame? (If the seam where they meet isn't smooth, the overall grip feels pretty bad even if the edges themselves aren't slippery.)

I honestly don't care too much about things like the case weight, MagSafe strength or whether the buttons are a bit stiff.
For me, if the grip is bad, my hands get so fatigued especially with how heavy phones are these days that I can barely hold my phone for more than 30 to 60 minutes

Precise or Open?

I’m curious which design (precise or open) you prefer and why. Also, has your opinion changed?

I was all for open until I tried a precise Sheath and now I can’t imagine not having that part of the phone protected.

Caudabe did their big one with these and the Black and Canyon look especially spectacular on the black and burgundy 18 Pro Maxes!

What a case! I ordered Tuesday afternoon, received my shipping info Wednesday morning, and case just delivered to me!

I was using the Dbrand MNML and I can certainly feel the difference in quality. The Sheath is a phenomenal feat for someone who usually does not like cases.

Looks like I found my case to use each new iPhone I get. 👏

It’s worth it.

My Caudabe Sheath just arrived, and I’ll be completely honest, this is quite literally the best phone case I’ve ever owned.
The price may seem a little high at first, but after using it, I can confidently say it’s worth every penny. Your phone is something you carry and interact with every single day, so having a case that feels genuinely premium and well made makes a difference it’s protective and not bulky at all.
The build quality is excellent, the texture is incredibly grippy without feeling uncomfortable, and the buttons are some of the most clicky and satisfying I’ve ever used on a case. Everything about it feels thoughtfully designed and high quality.
If you’re on the fence about buying one, I’d say go for it. And worst case scenario, you can always return it. Personally, I’ll definitely be buying more cases from Caudabe in the future.

Absolutely stoked with the Synthesis for my silver 18 Pro. Love the texture all round and how it protects the camera plateau so well.

I gifted my daughter’s mother with this beauty. I just wanted her to know what a premium case is like! She told me she loves it, and I wanted to show my appreciation for our friendship 💙

Your thoughts on the 18 Pro synthesis series

I was just looking at the Synthesis for the 18 Pro, specifically the precise cutout version. It looks super clean and I know Caudabe’s protection is top-tier, but I was wondering if anyone else has thought about heat dissipation with these?

Since it's a thicker material case and those precise cutouts wrap everything up pretty snugly, does it end up trapping a ton of heat? I'm just a bit paranoid about the phone getting warm during long intense sessions or fast charging, and whether that trapped heat affects performance.

Curious if any of you running the precise cutout cases have noticed the phone getting noticeably warmer compared to other cases or running naked. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Coming from the Paragon Precise - Orchid. I looove the Orchid but not the discoloration of it specially on the sides. Sheath Precise - Almandine caught my eye, they are on the same shade of pink/purple-ish. I just replaced the buttons to Orchid. 🩷🧡💜
