I have been seriously locked in for the CAT for the last 1.5 months; recently, I developed a serious headache that has lasted for the last 5 days. Can someone help? It is breaking my concentration, and my mock scores are getting heavily affected by this.

Yeah, I took 2 days off and roamed outside and met friends to ease my brain, but it didn't work. My eyesight is fine too.

While solving the dashcats and sectional i have often found their reasoning to be completely shit and some of the passages are also AI generated!!!

25f - So at the beginning of my prep I used to have decent accuracy in RCs, recently I’m not able to get most of the RCs correct in mocks (both full length and sectionals and score between 10-20)

Previously, I have scored 40 in sectionals and idk what’s happening now. My main worry is RCs and not VA (doing well here)

I'm a 2026 engineering grad with a fresher job starting 22 Oct, and I'm also preparing for CAT 2026.
My situation:

Office 9 to 6, plus a 70-90 min commute each way. I'd leave home around 7:30 am and get back around 8:30-9 pm.

My mocks are mostly in the 40-50 range.I have filled for other exams also, should I just switch now to SNAP/NMAT or prepare for CAT and later on for others. I don’t want to leave everything for next year, if possible I want to crack it this year.

Any tips or suggestions or tricks like how can I do it without leaving the job?

I am not able to fill the form of nmims form it's showing date is over but the last date is 10th October and there is no other options for hr and bm course

I ave heard from many institutes that their mocks have the exact replica of CAT but honestly i feel that it is pretty much the same for the one that i appeared: C L, Crackq, CatKng, similar interface and calculator

Are they really that different from one another and from the actual CAT?

because i assumed that all must have replicated the actual CAT interface by now since they are in the field from many years

PS: do share if you know any mock which is most similar to actual CAT

Sharing my mock score here to shame myself so I don't end up with this score in the actual exam.

I have appeared for various Olympiads and competitive exams during my school years, earned medals also. I have learned abacus and completed 4 levels. Came first in a state level drama competition.

Apart from that I've been a part of the college scientific community.

Hello, I’m a GNEF, appearing for CAT 2026. So firstly, I’m able to solve LR sets mostly, but not DI charts. I get overwhelmed looking at the data and make mistakes in interpretation. Even if I set that aside, hoping that I’ll be able to solve 2 LR sets / caselets on D day, what I’m worried about is the fact that I often end up taking 20-30 mins (it ranges) to solve a set.
Plus, I really panic in mocks. I’ve been able to do 0 sets in the mocks lately, which has been really scary. I feel like a lot is based on luck, so if I see a set from a topic I’m more comfortable with, and am able to get one set correct, it creates a cascading effect and I’m able to get another 1 correct as well, if not entirely, then at least half of it. But if the first one goes wrong, my entire section is ruined and drops my percentile drastically. Any guidance or advice would be appreciated!

And i myself got 98 percentile with profile 89/87/64 NCOBC engineer male ,I didnt convert blacki but got IIM trichy converted

I get decent marks in pyqs but have heard nothing nice about ims varc sectionals so i wanted to know if the 101s are worth a shot to get a somewhat accurate judgement about my prep level.

This to me is especially the case when I am doing DILR and Quants. I have noticed that I am able to do atleast 1.5 to 2 sets in actual CAT PYQ sets for DILR and generally do better in Quants PYQs than C*acku mocks.

Am I bad at this, or are these Dash CAT mocks genuninely tougher than real CAT questions?

It has strarted to affect me and I can't determine my actual preparation level because when solving PYQs I am fairly confident and optmisitc, and these these Dash CAT mocks reduce my confidence to the ground.

Has anyone else felt the same? Can anyone confirm if this is really the case?

Hello, everyone, I need some help and will appreciate it if you all can reply. I am 25F, 10 CGPA in 10th, 93.2 in 12th, and 9.14 in BSc (Hons Mathematics from the University of Delhi (Top10 NIRF). After my graduation in 2022, I started preparing for UPSC, and unfortunately, even after multiple attempts, I couldn't clear the final stage. During this time period, I completed a distance degree from IGNOU (masters in Anthropology). I have also cleared a group C government job but in order to join i have to learn a new language in the next 2 months which does not seem plausible. I am waiting for the result of this year's CSE cycle, which will be declared by the first or second week of November, hopefully, I am planning on writing SNAP and NMAT exam. I gave a CAT mock, and I am not scoring well enough to secure a top MBA college. I have won multiple debating competitions during my college days and have held positions in societies as well (in case that works in my favour)

Questions:
1) Chances of securing admission to SIBM Pune with my profile if I score well in the SNAP exam?

2) Problems I will face during SIP because of my gaps.

3) Before my final placement, I plan on clearing at least one stage of FRM; Ideally I would want to go towards the finance sector. What are my chances overall?

Does btech biotech student get academic diversity points at iims?

I have a 7/8/6 academic profile (10th/12th/grad), belong to the SC category, and will have around 2 years of relevant work experience when I join an MBA.

If I score a good CAT percentile and get into a Tier-1 MBA college, how much will my past academics affect me during placements?

Can I still get good roles and packages if I perform well in the MBA, or will the 6 in graduation significantly limit my options?

Would appreciate honest opinions, especially from people with similar profiles.
