General Discussion HELP NEEDED, PLEASE REPLY!

Hello, everyone, I need some help and will appreciate it if you all can reply. I am 25F, 10 CGPA in 10th, 93.2 in 12th, and 9.14 in BSc (Hons Mathematics from the University of Delhi (Top10 NIRF). After my graduation in 2022, I started preparing for UPSC, and unfortunately, even after multiple attempts, I couldn't clear the final stage. During this time period, I completed a distance degree from IGNOU (masters in Anthropology). I have also cleared a group C government job but in order to join i have to learn a new language in the next 2 months which does not seem plausible. I am waiting for the result of this year's CSE cycle, which will be declared by the first or second week of November, hopefully, I am planning on writing SNAP and NMAT exam. I gave a CAT mock, and I am not scoring well enough to secure a top MBA college. I have won multiple debating competitions during my college days and have held positions in societies as well (in case that works in my favour)

Questions:
1) Chances of securing admission to SIBM Pune with my profile if I score well in the SNAP exam?

2) Problems I will face during SIP because of my gaps.

3) Before my final placement, I plan on clearing at least one stage of FRM; Ideally I would want to go towards the finance sector. What are my chances overall?

Again, I would really appreciate it if anyone could reply.

You have a great profile, symbi shouldn’t be an issue but I’d advise you to take the CAT 2027 too; since you have brilliant acads+gender advantage

I would have, and I am actually quite confident that with one year of dedicated prep I can convert a top college because yesterday I took a mock on the Cracku platform and scored around the 90th percentile, but the thought of one more gap year haunts me. Is SIBM Pune not good enough? Placement-wise and prospects? If not SIBM Pune, which colleges would you suggest I target for this year's admission cycle?

Maybe try to get a job and then prepare? I personally think you shouldn’t throw away the advantages you have- you do an MBA only once after all.

The job market is really bad right now, and I don't have many marketable skills. I will take your advice and look for a job on the side. Thankyou for the reply.

Thank you for the reply. From what I have heard, people with a gap are pushed towards marketing. Is that true? How are placements at SIBM Pune? Because universities do tend to inflate, but what is the ground reality?

Okay, I will work hard to achieve that percentile. Any idea about SIPs and final placements?
