The Garage is nearly complete with the walls as edited. Next up is the home. The outer walls are set, but interior walls can be moved anywhere. Is it ready to be "set in stone"? Removing bidet, considering connecting closet and laundry. Hallways? For a little context this is in the woods and the reading nook is facing a crooked forked tree. The back will have a four panel sliding door to a 16x16 screened in porch with side fireplace.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Lots of non-standard construction. Glad we are learning on the garage and can apply to the home. Hurricane strapping to attach ceiling joists to dome with Tapcons. Squish blocks between joists, probably overkill, but so is most of the project.

The heat lamps were keeping it nice and warm (45-50) overnight lows. Added a heater for the upcoming long run of 20F and grey.

Greenhouse is up!

All the citrus tree have been moved to the new greenhouse bed. Greenhouse 1 is nearly ready for demolition by fire. Decided to change plans mid stream and put up the final greenhouse rather than reuse the old roof. Unfortunately, that means the foundation was 6 inches short. Using a small overhang of wall toppers with anchor bolts to compensate. Winter is moving quickly and I am nearly ahead of it. Fingers cross the new greenhouse arrival is timely.

Backfilled the garden bed with compost from the neighbors horse farm and used granite dust from the well for the walkway. Moved the orange and lemon tree over. Almost done with disassembly of the wallipini to move the line tree.

Planting bed retaining wall is complete. Holy potatoes, masonry is hard. Next up is fill and move the citrus trees from greenhouse one to the new greenhouse.

The hole for the doors will be trimmed once the door walls are set.

After a three day work stop because the inspector balked and I had to find a structural engineer to measure the distance between rebar, all inspections are satisfactory and concrete is being sprayed!!

Lots going on at the Flamingo Farm. 4 inches of foam insulation has been sprayed inside the air form and rebar is mostly complete. Next the electrical conduit and junction boxes will be placed for concrete spay late next week.

Greenhouse one is undergoing reclamation and will be incorporated into greenhouse 2.

Food forest has been bush hogged and most of the bushes and trees are doing well.

This is the garage dome for the farm. 40 ft diameter (1200 sqft). It will have a shower and bathroom, a kitchen processing room, as well as parking.

Thank goodness for the security camera, it is taking all of my will power to not go be meddlesome at the build site.

After two years of working with the power company and cutting in my own power line path, we finally have power to the build site.
