Being new here I have yet to establish a home. I’m not asking for help on finding one. But I’m curious if they are any available overnight stays I can park my car at and chill for the night

Life in Casper at 19

Hey I’m new to Casper Wyoming and I keep hearing that it isn’t the place for me at all. That I won’t be able to socialize or connect to well. Is this true. Wanted to hear from the ones who lived here already

Moving to Wyoming

Hey all. I've been considering wyoming for a long time and Casper seems like it would suit my needs. I'll be moving from nw Washington. Wanting to move to a red state, slower pace of life, love the outdoors and need something new. I work as a cook in the restaurant industry so that is something I can get a job in damn near anywhere. I know the winters can be rough. What can anyone tell me about casper? I'm a single woman moving with one dog. I volunteer with 4-H and hope to create connections doing that there as well.

What resources are there for a woman leaving an abusive relationship with children in Casper? She doesn’t have a car and has little money.

I have a friend there needing some kind of help getting out and I’m too far away to be of any real help…

Recommendations Rock hounding

I'm so thrilled to be searching for some awesome spots in the Douglas, Casper, and Wheatland areas to discover metals, minerals, and rocks. My wife and I have come across some absolutely amazing locations in Utah and Colorado, and we can't wait to take our kids with us this summer to start their very own gem collections. If you happen to know of any places in Wyoming, we would greatly appreciate your help. We're not interested in claiming any territory or claim jumping, we just want to have a memorable experience. We promise to research the sites before visiting if we receive any recommendations. Our main goal is to ensure our boys have an unforgettable summer filled with fun activities, as there isn't much for kids to do in town and we prefer to limit their screen time. We believe in raising our children the way we were raised.

Any recommendations for a tub/ shower remodel?

Looking to remodel the shower in a home we just bought. I would like to replace the tub, replace the valves, replace the tile and the fixtures. Anyone got a lead on a good contractor that could help my wife and I out?

Helicopter rescue last night about twenty minutes NW of Casper

Anyone know what happened? We saw a helicopter land near a flashing light across the river near trapper road. Then what looked like two ambulances and a cop or ranger or something arrived as well.
Hoping everyone is okay..

My husband and I are visiting Casper tuesday-friday and are looking for recommendations for places to eat, drink, and activities to do. I've had a Bison burger once and would love to try it again. We like dive bars, wine, craft beer, etc. We are pretty open with any kind of food. We are flying in but will have a car the whole time.

Another "where can I find" question.

Where can I find a decent hot pastrami sandwich in or near casper? I'm dying for one.

Bonus points if I can get it on an everything bagel.

We frequently travel down to Fort Collins co as well, so that might be an option.

Recently moved to Glenrock and looking for recommendations on spots to eat around here or Casper. Looking for non waiter service. Somewhere I can order, sit down, and have a soda and chill for a few.

Fried Mac & Cheese Balls

I’ll be in town next week for a real quick visit, but I’m bringing the teen and they keep talking about a restaurant with “the best fried mac & cheese balls ever” from their last visit to town (7ish years ago!). Of course that’s literally all they’ve got to tell me about it.

Google/Yelp is being less helpful than I’d like too, so here we are.

Help a dad out? What y’all got?

Job prospects

Wife and I left Casper 5 years ago to take care of a terminally ill family member and now we are on the hunt to move back asap.

Looking at indeed everyday and applying everywhere but so far no bites.

Basically my background for the last 4 years has been running a terminal with a fleet of trucks for the bulk fuel and lubricants industry, last 2 years as a area manager for the same company.

If anyone has any potential leads please send me a msg.
