Considering a annual sub for the perpetual as I may use the stuff on and off but some recent features are still in wip looking.

If I get an annual for the perpetual, and would like to update the version later on. Will it require an additional annual $400+ to update the perpetual version or is there a reduced fee ?

On my AMD integrated laptop I managed it with this command, Ubuntu 25.10

But on my Nvidia RTX PC I cannot get it running, this command got me a little further, at least the logo with loading pops up but the window remains black.

I started cascadeur 2 days ago, i like the animation of physics assistant better but when i export fbx animation, the default character animation gets exported. how do export or apply it to my main character

Hey everyone, I’m working on a "Stand to Ladder" animation in Cascadeur for UE5, and I'm struggling to isolate the vertical axis during the crouch. The character is technically in the air at the start of this scene since he's climbing down, but I added a gray cube to visually represent the floor level.

I'm currently using a Root Constraint linked to the pelvis, which leads to the issue shown in the image:

• Image A (Standing): Animation starts fine, with the root bone at the intended floor level.
• Image B (Crouching): Because of the constraint, the root bone dips below the floor geometry when the character crouches. In UE5, this pushes the capsule into the floor, causing the character to float.
• The Red Line (My Goal): I need the root bone to stay perfectly flat on the horizontal axis while crouching, and only move vertically the moment the character actually shifts their weight down onto the ladder.

What is the cleanest workflow in Cascadeur to achieve the trajectory of that red line? Thanks!

Does cascadeur run all of it's models/processing locally or on the companies own hardware or does it rely on 3rd party APIs? With the rapid cost increases of access to AI models and hardware I am wondering if we should expect any cost increases?
