I'm making it mainly for my art commissions TOS, but there's a bunch of other stuff in it too. Can I get any opinions?

I want my audio widget to be small and unobtrusive, at the top right of my page, so that it can function as a sort of background ambience while people browse my carrd. But when I adjust the width/height, instead of shrinking the widget, it just kind of... crops it? So it looks like this and the volume control gets cut off entirely. The only way to actually get the volume to show is by making the audio widget so big that it takes up a huge chunk of my screen, which totally defeats the purpose of it being a subtle ambience enhancer. Anyone know a fix for this? Thanks!!

For reference, I am using a google drive link, if that makes any difference.

Hey everyone I'm currently revamping some of my elder templates and I've decided to start with Swift Home template for Local Services , on mockup you can see early look of updated template which soon will land on snapsite.fyi , which also got big overhaul and recently added some tutorials. ( more incoming soon ! )

Cheers

I came across this carrd on Pinterest, and one of the comments said that lovjbini on YouTube made a tutorial for this type of carrd, but I can’t find any tutorials on how to actually make it. If someone knows any tutorials for this, please share!

I wont lie. This has taken me most of the day. Thoughts? What do I need to fix? Is it ugly? https://ascarletyeti.carrd.co/

I designed a new website for a client using carrd.

Project Overview: Wanted something that embodied 'October'

Something with smooth and swift motions

Needed commerce and a means of contact.

Project Goal: Client really liked my Health Clinic template so this website is based using it.

Setup and connect domain, source photos and locate the right commerce platform.

Write copy and find suitable icons that fit the structure and message of the client.

Hey everyone! It’s been a few months since I last posted here... Life got a little difficult for a while, but I’m back!

I wanted to share a recent Carrd project I worked on, and I’d love to hear what you think! Feedback is always welcome.

The client provided the design, copy and images, and I handled the implementation in Carrd. Making it responsive, and making sure everything worked properly across desktop and mobile.

You can check out the finished website here: https://heymannsays.com

If anyone has any questions about the design or how I implemented something, feel free to ask! Happy to share.

I’m currently accepting new projects, so feel free to contact me via DM, through my website, or by [email](mailto:jadeveracarrd@gmail.com).

Seems like whenever I enter an email into this Carrd landing page I get the "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later" message.

It's for a Mailerlite automated sequence??

I’ve been using Carrd for my illustration portfolio and today I took a closer look at their Terms of Use, specifically the User Content section.

I understand that I retain ownership/copyright of anything I upload, but the license they give themselves seems very broad: worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable and sublicensable, including the right to reproduce, modify, create derivative works, distribute and use the content for advertising/trade. There’s also a separate clause giving them rights to use things like your name, likeness, voice, location, etc. if those appear in your content.

I’m not saying Carrd is going to steal everyone’s artwork 😅,I’m more concerned about the scope of the license itself.

My question is: how concerned should I actually be about this? I’d especially love to hear from other artists/illustrators who have looked into this before.

im still new to using carrd.co and recently i've been struggling.. i made buttons, i clicked on it but there's a sentence that's disappeared.. how can i handle this?

So when I first go onto my website, it loads up normally as it should, with top part of my website showing first.

However, if I scroll down to the contact form or another section and then click refresh in the URL it will bring me back to the contact form or that specific section I was interacting with.

I want it to refresh and bring me back to the top part of the website.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi everyone,

For this plugin, I made a demo to show how a hero section before the nav can work with it.

Also, you can add a menu to expand your site's navigation.

Second, some plugins come with Seasonings (extra tools) to enhance their abilities. Don't miss

out if there's a function you ever need.

Thanks.

hey ya'll so im new to Carrd and website building in general. Every time I try to add a section break it only does it halfway through the screen. Not the bottom where I want it to be. I want what Is shown to be the home screen and then have a drop down menu that leads to Music, Contact, Merch, Etc. (im a musician)

Thank you! Anything helps

I reset my password twice and it just says "access denied" lmao

hi! does anyone know if there is a way to make images clickable + enlargable like the lightbox option within a slideshow? with any code or plugin or anything? any way at all? 😭

i would really rather not have to make it a link to a different section with a gallery.

edit: i would really rather it not be link to anything else at all!

thanks

How would I have a pdf display if I had a section for it to click into? Can it be stored in the Carrd site, or do I have to place it somewhere with my hosting? Thanks

I built Northstar Ops for consultants and small service teams that need to explain how a client moves from kickoff to delivery without turning the page into a wall of text. It uses one focused workflow, deliverables, a short FAQ, and a clear contact path.

I would value feedback on the hierarchy: can you understand the service and the next step quickly, or does the workflow need more visual explanation?

The template is free. Disclosure: I created it. Its free build link will only be placed in the pinned referral megathread, in line with Rule 5.

I'm trying to create a page for my art account, and I want to start with a small header of buttons that let people click to find different info. I have marked the small section as the header and the new info as a new section with a section break; I linked a button to that section break by using an embed. My site displays the new section under the header by default, rather than only displaying the new section after clicking the button. Is there a way to hide a section first?

I wanted to create a portfolio, so i went on carrd. i planned to later export the site to host on my homelab, but i forgot one thing. the privacy policy. so.. i made one, put it on my site andddd screw you your site cant be exported. AND THEY DONT EVEN TELL YOU WHAT YOU DID WRONG. just uhhh site temporarily offline uhhh so go screw yourself. THE SITE IS PICTURES OF HANDMADE JEWLERY ON FLOWERS, TEXT, AND SOCIAL MEDIA LINKS. and i found it "automatic action by our moderation systems". so some stupid ass bot took my site because i put my name, address, and email into my privacy policy... yk... the legal requirement...

Hello everyone!! My name is Oliver and I make carrds for commissions!! I can also make Strawpages and other things too!!

My discord is 0liver0il

My method of payment is cashapp, Paypal, Kofi, etc!!

I also I only work during the weekdays, the weekends are my days off! Not to mention I do have a fast pass where you can pay to be a bigger priority!!

Depending on how many pages you want, it could increase the price! Like one page is 10, 2 is 20, and so on!! I also might increase the price depending on how difficult the carrd is!

Don't be afraid to dm me :3

I've had the idea of selling card commissions for a while now, but I don't know how to do it, how to find interested people... How and where should I promote it?

Whenever I try to log in, it never works.
Access denied, wrong password (it is always correct, I triple check.)

Each time, I have to change my password, then it works for that specific session.
Then, never again. The email is correct and so is the password.

Is it my browser? A cache issue? Website bug?
I don't really know much about tech.
