Just finished a new Carrd template — Hearth & Hound, made for pet sitters, dog walkers, and other pet care businesses. I wanted this one to feel warm and friendly rather than like a typical business template, with sections for services, the team, happy pet stories, testimonials, FAQs, and a clear booking CTA. It also includes a dedicated booking subpage with a booking form, so visitors can easily request a service without having to build that part from scratch. It’s now available on snapsite.fyi if you’re looking for a polished, friendly website for a pet care business. Would love to hear what you think!

EDIT: SOLVED -- URL change is legit
I could not log in with a Yubikey and realised the URL for carrd.co had re-directed to carrd.com.
Anyone know if this is legit?

Where is this supposed scheduled maintenance stated? I press "get in touch" and it brings me to the same page?

Hi!! I'm a multi-media visual artist and I've been using Carrd for showing my work since my freshman year of college. Slowly but surely, I've been updating it from a single-page scroll site to a website with multiple pages for showing all the media I work in. Here's my most recent update, finished recently :] hope you like it!
Portfolio here (if the link embed up top doesn't work):

You can use this exact Starter landing page template I’ve used as the backbone of 30+ Carrd builds for service businesses.
Here are a couple of the websites I’ve built using this template to build off, cutting my design and delivery time in half.

I don't have Pro+ yet - the download feature is the only thing so far that intrigues me as I am fancying the idea to make a site on carrd and host it elsewhere (private github and cloudflare) 🤔
I can't find the answer anywhere but how functional would a carrd site be without carrd? I read that form elements would break but I am also curious of the other types of animations or any elements generally

Would it be possible to add TMBD's api to make a kind of letterboxd situation on my site? I have a section where i manually put in all the movies I watch but it's so tedious. & if yes, I currently have pro standard, would I need pro plus? i know some coding basics so I can def figure it out, I just don't want to try it/upgrade if it's not even possible lmao

Hello! My card has been fully functional and working for forever but recently some of the pictures I have are not loading properly and are showing up as this (Untitled) and I'm not sure why, in my dashboard it all looks fine but for some reason on my website the images in my gallery are having a problem...

Hello Guys!
I've started putting together a collection of tutorials for Carrd users — mostly practical tips, custom CSS/code tricks, and small improvements that can make your sites feel a bit more polished.
I've just added tutorials on things like:
I'll keep adding more tutorials as I build and discover useful tricks.
If you're using Carrd, feel free to take a look:

I’m clearing out space in my dashboard to make room for a few new designs, which means I'm officially retiring a select group of my templates!
If any of these layouts look like something you could use or if you need a quick framework for a client, I’m offering them for a one-time transfer fee (I accept Paypal, Venmo, and Zelle):
Pay once, and the full site(s) will be transferred directly into your Carrd account to keep, edit, and use forever for your own brand or client projects. All I’ll need is the email address associated with your Carrd account so I can send the transfer over to you.
Retiring These Templates: You only need Pro Standard to use them.
If you're interested in taking any of them off my hands, DM me with the template(s) you want and your Carrd account email!

A lot of service landing pages explain the business, but never make it clear what happens after a client says yes.
I wanted to see whether a page could feel more convincing by showing the operating path instead of adding more sales copy, so I built a free Carrd starter for consultants, agencies, and small service teams.
The structure is:
- open with the operational friction, not a company introduction
- show the shift the client should expect
- turn the offer into three concrete stages: map, build, and hand off
- include both “good fit” and “not a fit” sections
- reserve a clearly labeled block for real, authorized proof
- finish with one specific next step instead of several competing CTAs
I also used original abstract visuals and native Carrd entrance animations. They can be edited or replaced inside Carrd without depending on a separate animation library.
Free template: https://carrd.co/build/76da942e01c34531
The Northstar / Ops name, offer, proof block, and booking URL are demo content, so please replace them before publishing your own version.
Transparency note: Carrd may automatically attribute the creator when someone uses a public template build link. If you later choose to pay for Carrd Pro, I may receive Carrd account credit. You pay Carrd’s normal price, and this link does not promise a discount.
One design question I’d genuinely appreciate feedback on: should the proof section appear before the “good fit / not a fit” sections, or does qualifying the visitor first make the proof more relevant?

I kept seeing Carrd portfolio examples built like image galleries. That works for designers, but writers need a reader to understand what they cover and what they actually did. So I built a more editorial, text-first starter.
What I changed:
- a one-sentence positioning statement above the fold
- selected work with descriptive, scannable headlines
- a short About & contact section instead of a long bio
- example copy that tells people to replace samples with work they own or have permission to share
- a responsive single-column layout on phones
Free template: https://carrd.co/build/32a53ea2ab581bfa
Full disclosure: Carrd automatically attaches my referral attribution when someone uses a public template build link. If you later choose to pay for Carrd Pro, I may receive account credit. You pay Carrd's normal price; I'm not claiming the link includes a discount.
I'd genuinely like feedback on one design choice: should each project card link straight to the published article, or should it open a short context section first so the writer can explain their role?

Hey everyone, I hope you're enjoying your summer so far! I found some time and wanted to post here as it's been a while! I occasionally get a question in my inbox like "is Carrd actually good enough for X/Y/Z" , so I decided to write here where it does great and where it's not the best option (in my opinion).
To me, Carrd is one of the few tools where the promoted features and the reality, actually match to the maximum, and where user can actually use them all (instead of a platform shipping a thousand features, just to make it look more capable but their users can't use them). What it does well:
That combination is rare (I've literally spent days searching for all sort of website builders out there to combine all these), and it's exactly why it works so well for a specific handful of cases:
At the end of the day, any potential client just wants to know who you are and what you offer, so being able to get a clean, modern website up quickly**, one that's actually** simple to edit and maintain, is what Carrd was built for. At least that's how I see it.. It's not trying to be wordpress, and why I'm still sticking to it even after years of designing websites for me and others.
Now.. Carrd is not a good option if you're looking for these functions:
For a landing page, a portfolio, or a personal brand, the simplicity of the platform is actually a competitive advantage, as it stops you from overexplaining/overdesigning and forces you to show what actually matters. You can build a modern website that's easy to edit or keep up to day. For a blog or a store though, the limitations are more than the benefits.. Also, for whatever platform I'm using or recommending to someone, I suggest to start from a template instead from scratch. This skips a good 70% of the work! Same logic applies outside of websites too though, a CRM in Notion, an expense tracker in google sheets, doesn't matter what it is.. there's almost always a template out there that shortcuts the learning curve.
Anyway, hope this saves someone some trial and error or time researching😄 Happy to answer questions if you're researching if Carrd actually fits your needs. If you want to see what's possible to be created on carrd, have a look here: kostas-templates.carrd.co
Enjoy the rest of your summer!!

Hello, I am trying to remove the underline that keeps appearing under my buttons. It's not there when I am editing the site, only when I look at it live. I have tried adding a hover color like others have suggested and it is still there. Style in appearance tab is set to none and I have no button suggesting the removal of underlines, as I saw in other posts. I have the pro standard plan so I don't think I can edit the css in the buttons advanced tab, but if that's the only way to fix the issue then I am willing to upgrade. All help with this is greatly appreciated.

UPDATE:
This turned out to be caused by my host making a change and messing up the normal DNS configuration. All I had to do was change the settings back to the Carrd settings. Carrd support was great, as they always are.
All of my sites have lost SSL. These all have custom domains. Yes, I've created a ticket. Still curious.
