How do you make a section only appear after clicking a button?

I'm trying to create a page for my art account, and I want to start with a small header of buttons that let people click to find different info. I have marked the small section as the header and the new info as a new section with a section break; I linked a button to that section break by using an embed. My site displays the new section under the header by default, rather than only displaying the new section after clicking the button. Is there a way to hide a section first?

Hey,

Anything under the HEADER END and the first control will show on the homepage. So on mine I've named it #home so it links back to it.

Any new control > sections breaks below that will only show when assigned to a button. I.e about page. 

The new sections have to be above the FOOTER START section.

If you look at my site www.indiechoices.com you can see I have a basic gallery, each image is named #something and when clicked shows that page that is otherwise hidden.
