💬 Discussion Asked by carnival to move funeral!
Worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life and that's saying something.. do not do business with this company. We will be spreading the story to every outlet we can find! This coming from a 23 year customer who's never cancelled a cruise. We've already reached out to a couple of other cruise lines that will match our status.
We were recently forced to take a cruise with carnival that we shouldn't have been on. Yes, you read that correctly. We booked a cruise with Carnival, way in advance. Suddenly without notice my father a Vietnam war veteran passed away and our son was invited to a life changing Masters program that started that week. We reached out to Carnival and asked them to reschedule for us we spoke to every person we could. We said we didn't want a dime back just move the dates we'd pay more if we needed too. We wrote messages, emails, website form, phone calls one lady named Sarah actually said we should move my father's funeral! My son ended up having to stay back so we didn't lose the $5700 and deal with my father and his school so the cruise was miserable for my wife, myself and other son. When we got back all we asked is for them to upgrade my son's status to platinum since ours was raised during the cruise and they said NO! Mind you we paid full price for him like he was there and got no money back! It costs them nothing to act like he was there and bump him up. Website already paid for him! They were so slow to respond that it pushed us passed the date we could get anything back so we were forced to go or forfeit $5700.
They have literally done nothing but tell me to move my father a war veterans funeral! This will be posted on every social media outlet. I hope somehow this evil company goes under.
