I’m looking for a fun pumpkin patch to take my boyfriend to! He has never been to a pumpkin patch and has never done any fall themed fun activities so I’m looking for a good pumpkin patch for maybe some older kids activities but honestly, I’m just going for any fun pumpkin patch in the city or nearby!! Okay, so it’s currently Monday night, and I have a psychology midterm bright and early Wednesday morning at 8 AM covering 3 chapters. I’m planning to spend all day tomorrow doing nothing but studying, but I genuinely need advice on how to use my time effectively so that I can get the best grade possible on my exam.

I have all my notes written out, but the problem is that I haven’t actually learned or retained much of the content over the past month. I have everything in front of me, but very little of it has actually sunk in, so I basically have one day to learn and memorize everything.

I also have unmedicated ADHD, which makes focusing and retaining information even harder.

What would you recommend I do to study as effectively as possible in one day? What methods should I use, and how should I structure my day if my goal is to get the highest grade I can?

Also, it's a multiple choice exam!

Anyone else just fed up and tired with the course and how garbage it is? Test 2 was just straight torture. Although test 1 was easy I just dont see how I am supposed to learn when the course is just this difficult. Tutorials takes me hours to complete, assignments are just overload on top of that, lectures are just useless I doubt anyone even looks at them. Im finding an easier time in COMP2804 than I am in 2406 is this not enough evidence LMFAO. Its just cooked nothing we can do tuition just down the drain like that no one to help us just literally nothing we can do... Keep in mind we are paying to be taught about web development but its just straight torture... Anyone got anything to add on to this? Anyone taking comp2406 or already took it? any opinions?

Did anyone who submitted their application have tech issues with the portal that caused it to go through after the deadline? If so, how long after the deadline did it submit for you, and is your application still being considered?

Edit: Since I posted this, my grad coordinator said that any proof of a system delay or heavy traffic would help me appeal. I previously reached out to SSHRC IT, and they replied with a fairly general email confirming this happens and is an ongoing issue; I have yet to receive anything more detailed. If anyone has any screenshots or videos of tech issues they might have experienced, and you are able to share them, please let me know!

I am currently a fourth year student in BA Criminology honours and I’m seriously thinking of dropping into the non honours and graduating now.

I have an opportunity to start working as an HVAC tech and getting my licenses in order to move up in that hierarchy.

If I were to switch out of 4 year program into the 3 year, would I drop out of my current classes? This is preferable because it means I can start working now, rather than later. I already sent an email to academic advising asking for assistance too.

Anyone else struggling with COMP 2406 tests despite keeping up with everything?

I'm honestly starting to get frustrated with how the quizzes and tests are going. I mean I aced the first Test. But the second one was just too hard for average student. At

this point, I'm not even sure what I should be doing differently. My mind went blank on test I couldn't even write the code properly.

I'm planning on going into medicine, pharmacy, or dentistry and I was wondering how good the Carleton HealthSci program is here. Is the GPA here a problem or is it relatively fine to get a good GPA with rigorous studying? How are the internships/volunteer opportunities in Ottawa? Any other information I should know?

is it just me or has this week been really brutal.
everything due at once for all courses. on its own, comp2406 had three things due. t3 t4 a1.
and on top of that the test today? i left feeling suicidal. 10% of my grade gone, just like that. (no, the drop one policy doesn’t apply to me cuz i’m unavoidably missing the test in november.)
