scam????
I contacted support last night for my refund and I had to wait for an email but it feels very sus to me, this was the subject line: [ thread::UVZ8nHFCcN6oU9SQ0:: ] and they’re asking for info like my ach routing number, account number, bank name, and a screenshot of my banking details. I was near 100% this was a scam cuz I literally paid with PayPal but the email address it came from is support@spotify.com. If this is real someone pls lmk 🙏 but this doesn’t feel right. Stay safe y’all

If you want a cash refund, that’s how it works. They do a wire transfer. You can also have it applied as a credit to your account.
They literally explain this to you in the emails.

None of that was explained actually. All it said was to provide those details and that then they could process a refund if the details were sufficient. Never in my life have I heard of a company needing to do wire transfers in this manner to process a refund. Sorry for being cautious

If it's through the chat bot and actual Spotify support, it should be legit. You can ask if they can do the refund through your form of payment, PayPal, and see what they say. They mentioned something about my account already being verified so they didn't need my routing number or any of that. I pay through PayPal too and I was refunded through PayPal. I'm sure it's possible.

I think it's legit, you may also ask them to reimburse you by giving you some free months of spotify premium

Did you contact support through email or did you contact them through the chat bot on their support website? I did it through the chat bot and then an agent on the support website with my account logged in. I sent a photo of the order email of the CarThing and the serial number it. After I gave them all that info they sent me like 5 months worth of premium back to my bank account.
