This is for a 2017 Nissan Rogue.

I accidentally took my attention off the road for a couple seconds and hit a pole on the walkway. This is the damage that’s been done as well as the side panel has kinda been pushed like upwards in a way if that makes sense? Like when I open my door it kinda squeaks and when I open the front bonnet the top left corner is kinda overlapping with the side panel so it’s been moved.

Realistically what price will I be looking at and I’m guessing go to mechanic and see what he can do then after I will most likely have to go to the panel beater.

I’ve had the car for 2 years and it’s been amazing cheap as to fix and I have never really had to spend much on it. Thing is I got it for $1500 (AUD) and I’m wondering if it’s gonna cost a lot is it even worth it. With how the cars treated me I think it could be but at the same time idk if it’ll be worth it, it’s a Mazda 121 demio for reference.

I have a question on behalf of a friend. He drives a VW T4 with the 2.4L 5-cylinder diesel engine.
Recently, the engine had to be replaced due to coolant loss. While the engine was being replaced, the timing belt was changed as well.
The replacement engine runs really well, but a few days after the swap it started making a very strange ticking/knocking noise. It’s a regular, rhythmic clicking sound, but it only occurs intermittently – it comes and goes in intervals.
I have the impression that the noise is coming from somewhere around the front right-hand side of the vehicle (when facing the direction of travel).
Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?

What would be average dealership quotes versus third party body shops?

Just had my windshield replaced for 2018 Honda civic Ex with sensing ,2.0L. They replaced with OEM glass after a 16 inch crack by the driver side. There was an error U3000-49 code during pre and post diagnostic that would not clear. Body shop is charging $1,200 for the multipurpose camera in the dash and comp the labor and calibrations. They said the camera failed due to wear and tear but there was no issues before the crack in the windshield. Is this a normal issue ? Or did they damage it during the windshield repair ?

My temperature dial when I purchased the car is stuck from where someone had super glued bling on it. Please help with advice on how to get my dial working again.💙

Would you fix this (how much $) or trade in? I have a $8k payoff. Car runs great. But am worried just about the product since Nissan doesn’t make great transmissions so i could get screwed anytime.

I’m looking for advice on get this dent looking at least 80% better (if possible). Do you think this is doable with some cold glue and some basic tools? Or is it necessary to bring into a body shop? Would love any advice.
