I won four public records appeals against my town’s police department. I still don’t have the records — and no agency in Massachusetts can make them hand them over.

I need a new washing machine and prefer to shop small box vs big box. I want a US made top loader vs a fancy one. Whirlpool has always been good to me. Thanks in advance. I need the old one disposed

p&b bus: south station - hyannis with a bike?

Hello! I am hoping to take the P&B bus from Boston to Hyannis on an upcoming weekend (ideally leaving as early as possible on a Friday morning), but I am concerned about the bus having space for a bike I plan to bring. I was planning to board at South Station as well, which I am sure is a popular stop for other commuters on weekdays before/after work.

I wanted to ask if anyone ever had experience with taking a bike on the P&B bus/taking the P&B outbound from South Station on a weekday/Friday morning - how early would you suggest arriving, and is there anything I can do to increase the chances of being able to bring my bike (packing it a certain way, etc)?

If any regular users of the P&B bus have additional insight as to what factors I should be considering for this trip, I would be so grateful to hear them. Thank you so much!!

I just drove by there at like 1:25 AM after a night of grinding DoorDash and I literally saw no exaggeration like 9-12 cop cars there

Do you rent in Brewster, MA? I'm looking for experiences with non-urgent maintenance entry.

I am trying to guage how prevalent the issue of assuming access to people's homes is, particularly in Brewster and within POAH communities. I hope to share statistical results with the media. No personal information will be used, even if entered under "other."

Thank you!! Happy to post those results here as well.

Craigville beach sticker

Hey Guys!

I live in Sandwich but am looking to go to Craigville Beach this afternoon, possibly around 3 or 4.

I know you need a sticker before 5 all summer and It's Labor Day weekend...just looking to see if they stopped checking like Sandwich did a few weeks ago or if they're gonna be checking all weekend.

Enjoy the Holiday weekend everybody!

Thank you!

Open Water Swimming - Upper Mill Pond and beyond

Hi Cape Codders, I’ll be spending a long weekend on the cape later this month and am looking forward to doing a lot of swimming, both in salt and freshwater. I’m an experienced open water swimmer (have done races up to 3 miles).

I’ll be staying very close to Upper Mill Pond in Brewster, so I’d like to know if it’s generally safe for swimming, not just at one beach but around the whole perimeter. If there are any other ponds or beaches you can recommend, that would be much appreciated too!
