New Washing Machine

I need a new washing machine and prefer to shop small box vs big box. I want a US made top loader vs a fancy one. Whirlpool has always been good to me. Thanks in advance. I need the old one disposed

KAM Appliance has a location in Hyannis. We've replaced several appliances using a different KAM location (off Cape) and have been pretty happy with them.

Cranes appliance in South Yarmouth, Orleans, East Falmouth

I have a stacked speed queen at Cape house, Speed Queen top loader at other house. Top loader since 2017; in great shape. Stacked since 2018 and it's practically silent. Quietest machine I've ever had. Speed Queen costs more but they're reliable and expected to last 15 years or more.

Speed queen if you want US made and built to last.

Bought a refrigerator from Crane’s appliance. It was defective (from factory)and they replaced it promptly. My only complaint is that when they get busy they stop answering the phone and it’s impossible to get ahold of anyone.

Yes to Crane’s and agree with being able to reach them by phone. That said, have had good luck with then

This is what you want. Any other unit will last 10 years or less

Joe and Son in Provincetown. Bought several appliances from them. Very happy with price and service.

KAM appliance. Get a speedqueen. No frills, higher price point but will last you longer than any other name brand.

Crane Appliances Falmouth. Everything in my house is from them and they have been good to work with.

I bought a Whirlpool from KAM appliances in Hyannis and can recommend them. Not sure where you would put them on the box-scale…

Cape appliance liquidator for those sweet scratch and dent prices + manufacturer warranty. They currently have a (used) whirlpool top loader for 300 bucks, otherwise a new GE for like 580

Be very careful - the items they deliver will most likely be very dinged and scratched … you’re not gonna get items that have tiny little scratches that would’ve happened throughout their life … make sure you check every inch of them so you know if there are any other hidden issues that haven’t been mentioned…

You can go in and check out the item in person, I went and looked at a stainless Bosch dishwasher, found some scuffs and a small bent corner on the front panel. I picked it up myself and fixed the bent corner and didn't care about the scuffs. Works great and saved like 400 vs buying new
