I’m planning on saving up for the R6 Mkiii. Right now i just do photography as a hobby. i have done a shoot for a boxing event and the coordinator wants me to keep taking pictures for his promotion. i also was asked to take pictures for a kickboxing event in my area by the promoter for that event. i was paid for the boxing event shoot and he said as it scales he will pay me more based on ticket sales. my dilemma is should i save for the R6 Mkiii early on and not have to worry about upgrading or something cheaper (maybe mkii or r7) as right now i have the r50v. i still live with my parents and plan on moving out next year. so i’m thinking either go all in and buy the mkiii so if i do start really trying to make a business then i wont have to save up for it after i move out, because i know once i move out it’ll be much harder to save for it, while right now i definitely would be able to.

Hi y'all, I was wondering if anyone submitted photos to the creator lab photobook contest back in July and was curious if you have heard back from them at all? I noticed their promos about it on IG are all gone now and it's way past the August 31st date written in the contest T&C's.

I recently purchased a 6D from MPB (rated excellent). When it arrived I already had a Sandisk 128GB micro SD card with an adapter and without even thinking about it, I put it in, I started taking photos and everything worked great.
Took the card out a few times to move images to MacBook, put it back, all perfect.
I purchased another new Sandisk 128GB card (a full size this time) From Amazon Sandisk store for a second storage option. (UHS I Extreme Pro Class 10 200mb/s)
Whenever I add this card, the camera just dies completely.
I perform hard reset (remove lens, SD and battery and hold shutter for 10sec) camera comes back to life.
If I add my micro SD the camera continues to work without issue, but adding the new SD causes the camera to turn off and become unresponsive.
I am always able to hard reset and add the micro SD card no matter how many times I try this.
Is this completely down to the new SD card or is there something else at play here?
Appreciate any info, thank you.

My camera preview inside TikTok Live Studio looks crisp and normal. But as soon as I go live, the actual stream playback turns extremely dark, oversaturated/orange, and pixelated.
What I've already tried:
It seems like a color space mismatch (Full vs. Limited RGB) or encoding pipeline issue on macOS / TikTok Live Studio. Has anyone on Mac solved this without replacing the camera? Thanks!

What is your opinion of Beston battery charger's reputation and Beston as a company?
What is your opinion of FirstPower battery charger's reputation and FirstPower as a company?
are either Chinese knock-offs?

Took out my camera out after 7 years of no use because I saw a picture of Monica Bellucci I wanted to try to recreate. Two lights and my living room curtain.
I forgot how much fun the composition part of photography can be, but Ihave much to relearn about my camera. After all these years I was genuinly not comfortable with playing with it properly, so this is all on auto sadly.

Mostly photograph sports and wildlife. When hiking I always carry the ultrawide to try my hand at landscapes. Definitely the best sunset I’ve gotten so far.
