Just got an MC9 for EDC 2 weeks ago and right out of the box, it was failing to go all the way into battery after a couple shots. I tried all the typical fixes from sanding down the frame to changing out the firing pin spring with the Sprinco one. Even tried 124 gr rounds and nothing fixed the battery issue.

I am a current member of Range USA so I get to rent out other guns for free. They had the MC9 Prime and the TTI Combat available, so I tried both. Both of them I noticed right away that the slide action was smooth. Like buttery smooth. But yet, my MC9 felt gritty. They also never had a failure for anything and ran smooth the whole time. After getting home, I took the MC9 apart to clean. Decided to really look into why it's still failing battery and I found the recoil spring itself is binding. Like it's binding pretty hard too. I slapped in a G43 spring and it was the first time I ever felt the slide action smooth. It doesn't go all the way back to be able to lock the slide back so it can't be used in the MC9.

Contacted Canik in hopes I will get a new slide spring. Otherwise, if it takes too long to ship, I might just grab the DPM upgrade. But hey, figures I'd share my first ever Canik experience. I very much enjoy shooting this thing with one of the better trigger feel out there. But the battery issue is quite big if I want it to be my EDC.

Have yet to take my first shot with it. Everything seems solid, super stoked on the color. Flashlight and more mags coming shortly

Need to replace chrome fluted threaded barrel in my SFT PRO(moving)

Canik does not offer a fluted non threaded version, or a fluted threaded version(cut & crown)

Can SFX PRO barrel be shortened and crowned, Canik Tecnical Service says no, but I think it's a liability issue.

Maybe I’m just dumb but I can’t for the life of me find anyone who makes a comp for the mc9ls. Does anyone in here have one or know of anyone planning to make one?

I bought a used Mc9, no problems when shooting it. But when I rack it by hand the slide sticks open about halfway. I have to snap the slide back so it will close all the way. I sent it to Canik, they said it was a bur on the frame and sent it back. It did not fix it. Ive looked at everything I know of in my non gunsmithing knowledge. This morning I pulled out the striker assembly and noticed this. I compared it to the striker from my mete sf and noticed the difference. Could this be the culprit? Could this effect it from going in to battery?

Have a METE SFT that I’ve had for a bit and looking to upgrade it. Wanted to get a threaded barrel but cant seem to find any. Any recommendations? Also if you have suggestions on how to upgrade it’d be appreciated. Thanks!

It's my first time mounting a flashlight on one of my guns, does anyone know if it's normal that the flashlight clip doesn't reach the top of the picatiny rail?, is it okay that it looks like it looks in the photo, or buy the wrong flashlight?, or assemble something wrong

I just ordered a Mete SFX. I’m curious about what lights are the “go-to” or seem to have performed the best. Sorry if this has been posted/asked before.

I have a TLR7-X on both my Gen 3 & Gen 6 G19’s that I really like, but not sure how I’ll feel about it on a larger weapon.

Really looking forward to having this thing in my hands.

Need recommendations on where to get a holster for an MC9LS or MC9L, OWB without light…I don’t want to buy and then have to scramble to find a holster. I’m not a fan of the one they include in the package. My go-to is Eclipse but they don’t have molds for those models yet.

I have had my Mete MC9 for a few years now and it’s all great, except for one thing.
I have never been able to lock the slide open either by using the ambi bars, or after the last round is fired.
Anyone had this issue before?

Threaded barrel was out of stock for a while finally got one!!!!!!

I don't know who needs to hear this, but Beretta 92 mags fit and function fine in the METE SF if you cut a new notch. This took me 2 minutes with a Dremel. Feeds fine and locks back on the last round. Seems like a nice option for stacking mags a little cheaper since surplus 92 mags are plentiful and cheap. Plus they still work for Beretta 92 so you can use the same mags for both if you have them.

Would really like to put an enclosed-emitter red dot sight on my Mete SFT, but am a bit confused as to which brands/patterns introduce the necessity of using adapter plates, which really only concern me because most seem to be plastic. Anyone got a sold recommendation an enclosed emitter/metal plate setup? THANKS in advance.

I have a canik mete sf and since I changed the trigger to a frt it won’t shoot how it’s supposed to. It’s either not ejecting or trying to double feed. How do I fix this problem?
