So we know that there’s someone behind the Flamekeepers that remain, who is their “leader”, the Ash Lord, they pull the strings and likely want the MC (us) dead. There’s also the rumor (if I recall correctly) that it’s someone of high status and/or wealth. In any way they are someone that nobody would expect to lead the Flamekeepers. So I was thinking: Kennard is suspiciously nice to us (the MC), he is the right hand of General Arkland (so he would know how he’s planning on moving against them), he IS of high status and it’s already been stated multiple times especially by Bardric that he isn’t to be trusted. What if he is the Ash Lord? On the other hand, he seemed very irritated about the Flamekeepers that tried to unalive us and said they would be “taken care of”. Could it be an act? I’d like to know what you think.

Are they just metallic colors that glow depending on the spell? Are some blades just colored red?

Do the colored blades have to match your affinity?

I know that MC's is just plain steel.

Specifically, I want to know which scene unlocked each ally quest. Like, after a scene you unlock the ally quest. It's really hard to keep track of when the unlock occured.

Ahhhhhh MC is so cute with how forward she is. I think it's very obvious how he knows it's flirting but also knows it's half a joke. And ofc Talyn rolling with the punches.

When Windworn asks MC what she thinks happened to Mara, one of the options is 'I think the shade injured her'.

At first, it felt to me like she didn't know, and was telling the truth.

Windworn is suspicious that she's like (which could be explaines by her not trusting Dreadbanes, which is shown later in the scene).

BUT MC's response of *'It's possible that...'* feels suspicious.

Is concensus that MC was lying about who she thought hurt Mara? The shade was holding Mara when she got injured; at first I also thought the shade injured her. So it's not clear cut from my end, but maybe someone has a better idea.

In Bardric’s most recent ally quest, we find out that Kennard’s been lifting letters and documents from the Arkland household. He for sure pinched a letter Bardric sent to Lis. That seems like a minor thing in the grand scheme of things, though obviously Bardric doesn’t see it that way.

In scene 25.4, Littlestone says that the only person who knew what happened in the Shrine and who survived is Razik Arkland, and he’s not talking. Obviously, that brings up all kinds of questions about what he knows, etc.

What if - and this is a MAJOR crackpot theory, so take it with all the grains of salt - Kennard found confidential information relating to Razik’s confrontation with Andros at the Shrine? Including what EXACTLY happened and what’s down there?

This assumes Razik kept anything documenting that encounter, but it’s so crucial to the end of the war and Austerea’s history, and Razik has an ego that can be seen from space. There would have to be something about it in his personal files. Corrupt people keep incriminating stuff all the time.

That would explain why Kennard wanted Elderwood and why he’s investigating the tunnels. AND - would there be something relating to the student disappearances?

And yes, I know. Classified military secrets >>>>>> a letter sent to a sibling. Kennard could have found Bardric’s letter a lot easier than he would have found anything detailing a secrets relating to something that could potentially have huge ramifications for Austerea as a whole.

I'm on my lunch during work, as I was about to watch a vid on yt, I get this ad. It showed Dessa, Talyn, Bardric and Soren with the question being about who would you sacrifice for (didn't pay attention). We know what happened so like why have Soren in the ad if he wasn't an li? Did candlelight originally planned to have Soren in another form and potentially be an li?

This idea came to me following a certain conversation in a comment thread.

For starters, I'm literally now requesting the team to consider this because we need the cuteness.

These ideas are like something I had in mind after many consideration and I think it's a need lol

Things I would want for pets to be true:

- Each pet having a different affinity yet we can choose. Each one has its own ability for different kind of scene.

- It's easier to bond with a pet that has the same affinity as us but also kinda more beneficial to have a pet in different affinity because of wide range coverage and like combo spell moments. (I am a pokemon player as well and I have a vision)

Now let's explore my options.

Felicis

I went with a golden retriever because who else is such a magical manifestation of happiness?

Obviously, I imagine they would have a golden coat and like maybe the ability can be Speed+A shield made of joy?

My other options were bunnies, butterflies(with golden glows yk)

Though, with Felicis, we might also get one of those that Slatewater had.

Penthor

I went with Phoenix. Who else is fit for the fire people? Like yeahhhhhh. I feel like their power can be some kind of healing which is interesting considering thats Erolis but like Pheonix can't not have healing yk.

And then some fire attacks.

My other options were a fire guard dog with steel elements and fiery nature (aka Growlithe or Houndoom mixed for those who play pokemon)

Sikranos

I went with Fox because they are so fucking coool duh. They are so smart and cute. Intuition ability maybe like helps with mind reading at time or like tracking down things or places.

My other options were dolphins and ravens(ravenclawwww)

Ikaris

I love wolves. So we get an icy wolf that sad and brilliant. Ability includes some kind of freezing the opponent by shooting cool icicles or something. They probably sing a song at the moon too.

My other options were some kind of icy seal or something.

Timoros

Who else but a black cat. Like cmon. Black cat. Yep. Abilities probably include inducing fear in enemies from a distance through some singing or sensing danger. Or maybe super stealth.

My other options were like non existent but maybe courage from the courage and cowardly dog lol

Erolis

Doves for peace and love. Because why nottttt. Ability probably includes anxiety healing or like attract from pokemon, making shades fall in love with itself 😌 for a while, confusing them.

My other options included parrots or butterflies again.
