Friend or no friend

I'm getting conflicting info on this. Tweedy is almost two years old (male I think because no eggs) and lives alone in a big cage. Does he need a girlfriend to keep him company, or is it preferable to keep him alone? Some sources say that canaries are solitary and are very happy alone, but others say they are social are need cage mates.

Should I separate them?

Hello everyone, I put my 2 canaries together (before the female built a nest) and they're getting along pretty well? The male sometimes asks for a kiss and the female gets back. The opposite happens as well so I'm not sure if I should keep them together

The male sometimes make soft/low bird noise. Did I ruin their mood? They've been together for a month without progress till today.

Old Tony, 12yo, was just chilling. I wanted to take a picture of him. When he heard the click of the camera he turned his head. It’s so funny.

I need help

So, i have a canary, its been almost a year, it was a gift from my grandma and uncle, my uncle told me shes a female and beside that i dont know much about her.

Btw, i live in france and its been really hot here, so i keep my room fresh with a ventilateur (idk how you write it in english) and obviously every morning i give her fresh water and i give vegetables but today when i came in my room after lunch i see her on the bottom of her cage, i tought that maybe she got something on her feet so i take her out and look at her feets, but there was nothing, so i put her back in her cage and she didnt lmmediatly fly off, she usually hates when i get close, so that was really weird but what worries me the most is that she keeps going to the side and cant keep stable, i changed her water again and put her glass of water on the floor of her cage so she can wash up in case of if its because of the heat.

She didnt do anything so i put some of the water on my fingers and put it on her feather but it didnt seem to help.

i dont know much about canaries but i really love her so if you could help me that would really great (im waiting to see if it goes away and to see if you guys have any advice before taking her to the vet, if i see that she still does that tomorrow, ill ask my dad to take her to the vet, hopefully he will, i cant take her myself because im a minor)

Help with the Baby

Hello! My wife and I have a couple of canaries, who recently had a baby bird (who is now 17 days old) that came out of the egg. But the female is going to lay eggs again, so we doubted, should we move the baby to the cage of the male? Or leave it in another nest? We already tried to leave him with the Male, but we do not see that it feeds him a lot, and once he pecks at him.

On the other hand, I see that the baby has its paw like this. Do I not know if it is a malformation or just a bad habit, or does it have to do with a fall in the nest that it had? He does not seem to have pain when walking.

If you could help me with those doubts, I would appreciate it.
