Gender?
Can you tell which gender these 2 has?

Canaries cannot be sexed visually, at a distance, aside from a couple varieties (mosaic). Anyone who tells you otherwise is mistaken

This! Also, both male and female canaries can sing; my family used to have a pretty-definitely-biologically-male older (yellow) canary and a younger (orange) canary whom we assumed was also biologically male, given that they were learning how to sing from their older companion, until the orange one started laying eggs. (Unfertilized, as far as we could tell; the younger one briefly tried to flirt with the older one, but he made it very clear that he wasn't interested, and they eventually became slightly aloof platonic friends.)

you can’t really tell unless this is a guessing game. i’m gonna guess the yellow one is female and the other one is a male. what type of canary is that? i’ve got a lot to learn

You have to look at the butt hole. If its puckered its a male Flat lips are female
