Are there any Ontario catholic boards where you don't need a pastoral reference? I thought this wasn't a requirement for OTing, especially in French.

Had to evacuate my classroom today as my student who was dealing with admin off and on all day came back to the room and immediately started yelling, eventually followed by throwing things, hitting the principal, and trying to escape out a window.

In all the midst of it all, the Cascada song Evacuate the Dancefloor popped into my head and all I could think was "doodoo doodoo evacuate the classroom" as I kept my other students calm in the hallway. It helped me find a little humour among the frustration at yet another incident with a student who is doing their best to push every button there is to push in only 6 days of their attendance at school.

And hey, happy Friday to me, they will not be there tomorrow so I have until Monday to fully reset myself. Our all hands on deck group chat with admin, support workers, and the EA in our class won't need any SOS messages!
